I have only recently discovered Songs: Ohia. I can't quite comprehend that Jason Molina is no longer with us. Because he is. I listened to this song over and over and over before I knew he died. I agree. Except I'd be remiss not to point out coal and gasoline are fossil fuels entirely. First source. The sun burns the fossils of everything but only after they've been devoured and decomposed, particulate matter then combustion material after a long long geologic epoch. Jason is definitely one of the most talented writers, guitar players and his voice is beautiful yet so eerie and foreboding at the same time.

Just a Geologist and song writer over here being picky. I just don't like when something confusing but beautiful is out there without a fore or after word about the scientific truth. I know that doesn't matter in music but I think we should try to make it. Some never will Google orattend an earth science class but they might listen to this musical genius; may he rest in peace.
