IMO Leo putting so much time into aegis when he’s clearly not as polished with that character has slowed down his progression. Aegis may be a good character, but they have not clicked with Leo like byleth and joker did almost instantly. I truly believe if Leo solo focused on joker and byleth he would still be the demon he’s known to be. Hell who knows what ultimate would look like if Leo never dropped joker in the first place. Now with that said, insanely happy for tweek here. Dude has battled through so many ups and downs and to pull out the win against his rival here was INSANE! The first time tweek has ever stopped mkleo from reverse 3-0ing him, poetic for sure. He deserved the win.

@@thelivelysnivy83 I'm not gonna discuss this, its clear as day. I repeat: Aegis, his worst characters by far. He's underperforming. Could he lose with Joker and Byleth? Yes. He can. He's not indestructible. This has nothing to do with those characters being a greatest threat than his Aegis will ever be. He's losing in scenarios he shouldn't because of it. If you are going to tell me that being clearly wiped 0-2 and then switching to a rusty Byleth and getting 2-2 and almost winning the entire set isn't indicative of anything, you are plain blind. Again, I'm not gonna discuss this with anyone. Just get rid of the Aegis already and give us true top material content like you used to with Byleth. This match is filler until he selects Byleth. You can skip all of it and the true essence of smash, the part of the match when your heart is racing is at the Diddy vs Byleth part onwards. That's enough to say. When he loses with Joker or Byleth, he just loses because he was outplayed. That's fine. When he loses with Aegis, he loses because it's his weakest character by far. When MKLeo HIMSELF says "i should've gone byleth form the beginning" and not even Tweek can deny it, just affirm, say "yea" and laugh, you cannot say otherwise.

Don't get me wrong, Leo's Aegis is amazing and in time, he could dominate the competition with more practice. But he wasn't at his best with Pythra, and it's poetic that Tweek is the one to make Leo realize that and make him turn up with Byleth. One of the best sets of all time. Crazy how Leo managed to win Game 3 and 4 for how unpolished his Byleth is. I'd love to see it come back to its former prime as I enjoy watching it more than Aegis and do think it does better for him. Congrats Tweek! I am so proud of you, I knew you had what it takes especially how well your sets against Glutonny and Sparg0 went beforehand.

I think had he been playing Byleth from the beginning of that set, Leo would have definitely taken it. I really wish Leo would just stick with Byleth as his main and only use his other characters for specific matchups. His Byleth is just such a beautiful thing to watch.

Yeah, I highly agree. I don’t agree with Charles saying that Agis is best for Leo on paper; highly disagree since to me his agis look Uncomfortable. Sometimes character feel and creativity goes a long way. That’s why leo dropped Lucian wayyy back in the day. You can tell byleth was a way more comfortable pick. He could of won if he would of charged that down smash a bit longer

I think they should release another video when the commentators' voices are muted at the end of the set, because there is an interesting conversation between Leo and Tweek. I catch Tweek said that he thought he would be reversed 3-0, and Leo replied he should use Byleth from the earlier set, but I can't catch other lines between them.

As angry as I am that Leo lost as much as I wished he chose byleth from the beginning or at least after game 1. Tweek definitely played out of his mind he showed Leo that his Pythra may work against other people but it was clearly no match for his Diddy, and even after Leo switched and won those 2 games Tweek just kept his chin up and pulled through during the nail biting game 5 last hit situation. Great job to both Leo and Tweek they both played amazing. Congrats to Tweek for winning he definitely earned it.
