The remake of the scene from Twenty-Five Twenty-One takes a deeper look at two characters Yijin and Hee-Do as they discuss their future aspirations and shared goals as they navigate different stages of their lives. I chose this scene due to the wholesome and comforting nature of it. Korean cinema and dramas are often hard to recreate, and the essence of Korean culture is always captured within these films. In this scene, I wanted to adapt it in a way for audiences across the world could understand. This scene can resonate with any two people who understand what it is like to reach a point in life where the future feels uncertain and to have someone support you. A simple yet powerful exchange between two characters can be universally appreciated regardless of what language it is spoken in. This scene can be categorised as coming of age moment as it explores topics of growth and personal challenges.
