A "pride" of lions is essentially like a "pack" of wolves, or a family unit. So "lean on my pride" could actually mean Tyler leaning on others because when he goes astray he ends up "cutting his lip" on things he knows he shouldn't do. It's written in an unorthodox way because "lean on my pride" and "I'm a lion" are both statements of self-pride. But put together, they actually mean something totally different, depending on your interpretation of the word "pride". It's a beautiful verse because you can accurately interpret it multiple ways, especially how it relates to the other lyrics in the song.

Cut my lip is one of my favorite songs because of the instrumental. That very last part where the instrumental plays while the echo says "might as well" is like a caress on my face. Bandito is next, the clique anthem🎉

This song helped me push through difficult times. Having to do things that were harmful to me, but nevertheless had to be done. But thankfully I had my people to help me get through it. I think you missed my favorite line. "I don't mind at all, lean on my pride, lean on my pride, I'm a lion" It's my favorite because I knew I couldn't get through without my people. They were everything to me in those moments.
