Not Josh Dun yeah there was another interview Tyler did in 2013 where he's talking to the interviewer about his insecurities and how he "knows he messed up" and he said that he wants to be the best brother he can be but he knows he can't do that and why can't he? And honestly it killed me inside because this must've been around the time he was writing polarize and it shows how much he thinks about his songs and the lyrics in them he doesn't just take a topic and write about it in a day he thinks and rethinks and researches and uses personal experience and his emotions to make his songs the most authentic possible. He thinks so much that it overflows into his interviews to the point where he can't Help talk about it and I think that's the most beautiful and heartbreaking thing about it. He's so passionate but his mind is constantly troubled with questions and insecurities and doubts. I think of guns for hands. "Im trying to sleep but I can't when you all have guns for hands." Sure, people may think he's exaggerating. But if you look at interviews like this, it shows he sits on these things for so long. There is no doubt that he stayed up too many nights to count troubled by the thoughts in his head and others heads and pondering over his ability to help them. He really couldn't sleep. I wonder what he's thinking about right now. I'm sure we'll learn when the next album comes around.
