Chloe Bease Not really. Some people really did feel lost and they were probably going to take their lives but then they might have stumbled upon this band. And a lot of people are helped by music and they can hide behind it as a barrier. Music helps a lot of depressed people, or just anybody, not only depressed people. And their lyrics could have saved somebody's life. And I know they saved mine, don't try to make me think otherwise because I was really falling at that point in time, and if I hadn't found twenty one pilots, I would have kept going down and feeling worse, and I might have just ended up killing myself tbh.

Really, thank you guys so much. You didn't cure my depression, no, but you helped me reach graduation. Thank you so much. Edit: 5 years later, I'm doing ok. Got into drugs, got outta drugs, went to a mental hospital, but I'm doing good. Weird to think back to how much twenty one pilots impacted me when I don't listen to them anymore. Crazy.

Befs Lyfe I'm almost positive he's referencing an awful song from 2001. A hip hop group called "dem franchize boyz" had a popular song and dance called "lean wit it, rock wit it." After he says that line in this song he says "when we gonna stop with it, lyrics that mean nothing, we were gifted with thought." I really think he's saying music is garbage because people don't give it enough thought. They just want it to make money. A lot of artists will have a song that's about absolutely nothing but because there is a dance with it it becomes popular. A good recent example is "whip it/ nae nae." That song is trash but it sold millions. Maybe I'm way off here but this is why I think he used that line. I'm also 31 so I was around when "dem franchize boyz" were a popular thing. It was sad.
