I think my blood is basically the story of a kid who experienced trama too early and because he didnt understand loss he created an imaginary brother (or he developed a split personality) since he lost his mom at a young age "Stay with me my blood" He doesn't want that split personality (brother) to leave him like his mom did so he's scared of getting help?

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a split personality. We have many sides to ourselves. I assume that the more rebellious, dark and violent side of him helped him cope with grief, almost like a comforting and a supportive brother would. So he never wants that side of him to disappear because in the end it’s what made him pull through so far
