I can't stop thinking about how, when Tyler sings, "And then by the time I catch in my peripheral" from 2:17 to 2:22, he eventually makes a triangle with his hands and brings it towards his eyes. It could be nothing, but I thought about Migraine and the lyric "waging wars behind my face and above my throat". The dangerous road symbol is on a triangle sign. The triangle hand gesture to his face can be interpreted as danger behind his eyes...in his peripheral...in his mind...and he has to overcompensate for it...! I don't know. It could be a reach. But that feels super intentional.

The way this song is built just makes so much sense for the music video. Since this is Clancy (Tyler) and the Torchbearer (Josh) just singing and playing drums to a room full of Dema citizens, they don’t have all the music in the background. The music we hear is not as “musical” as most of their songs because it is an enhanced song that is played with one man singing/rapping and one playing drums. For this reason, there’s not much chord progression or stage taking melodies and the Drums and Vocals are mixed to be the focus of the song.

Wow this entire song is like peak fan service. Namedropping Josh Dun, being direct with the lore by mentioning Clancy, you've got a call back to everyone's favorite album Trench and a sort of remixing of an existing song, you've got some German here some Spanish there, classic TJ rapping, tempo change. Tyler's writing has always been so cryptic, but it feels like he's directly acknowledging the fans here. So self-aware it's surreal.

I can agree that I think that the power and control that Clancy gets from seizing may go to his head... but I don't think that Clancy will ever become a villain. I do think that the struggle with himself in that sense will be a a major theme in the album though, which will be pretty cool to see/hear.

There was a big shooting in Moscow. I'm so scared of it and i don't want anybody to die.
