I totally agree about all this. Tyler is an amazing front man and I think he’s very underrated. He really has his fans eating out of the palm of his hand at his shows. And I also agree he’s an underrated pianist. He’s not a classical pianist, but he really knows how to create something on the piano that’s just so beautiful and touching. And I also agree with the fact that he is honest and real. I like to think of it-as genuine. And you can tell when people are full of bull crap and when people are truly being honest in their work. You can tell he puts everything into his art and we the fans who truly give them time and energy know that to be true.

I watched the music video of the song and this performance as well as the audience filming the performance and its 1000% not lip syncing which you agreed with also I prefer this version rather than the studio version because it sounds better and they added in the scream which I favor.

Another channel already analyzed the waveforms and he is singing live and with very minimal pitch correction, except the first note of the scream is perfectly flat. That’s the only egregious example but still incredible performance

And honestly Everybody uses pitch correction at that level, most artist don’t even have a choice in the matter, it’s just on the board chain regardless, so honestly not egregious at all imo bc every big artist uses it. 🤷🏻‍♂️
