Dear Skeleton Clique, You all are amazing. I just joined the clique a few days ago and everyone was just so warm and welcoming. I think this is the best fandom that I’ve been in so far. The way that we would all die for Tyler and Josh without hesitation is unbelievable dedication. We’re all loving and accepting. I love this fandom so much that it hurts when something bad happens to one of you. I see comments constantly about how tøp saved their lives and I understand why. I know the power of music and tøp is the perfect representation of that. Whenever Tyler does the head thing, I just have to cry. That’s how my brain works. Even though I wasn’t in the clique when the codes thing happened, I watched a lot of videos about it and I can’t believe how smart the clique actually is. I live half the world away but if you all ever meet Tyler or Josh, please tell them about the clique. They need to know how dedicated we are and how much we love them. Sincerely, A fellow Bandito

This is insanely good- never gets old. Incredible mix of musical elements, styles, and musicianship driving really good songs. 2021-22 could use a new dose of this collab...
@MechaKnuckles2 жыл бұрын
Agreed - even though Paul Meany is a major part of TOP's modern production, it would be awesome to see another collab where he and the other band members take the lead in remixing some new tracks.

I discovered twenty one pilots last year. Stressed out was my first song, eventhough I had the luck to hear it before the radio stations played it every half hour and everyone sang along. However, I started listening to blurryface and later vessel, self titled and after some struggles also rab and I just couldn't get enough of it. These songs are so real, this band is so real. The clique is fantastic too and I'm also really lucky that i met so many great people through their music. I may not be there since the beginning or have a fanpage, neither being active on twitter or instagram - but I'm so deeply in love with their music it's insane. And I know we are going to have a great journey with more amazing music and beautiful concerts. Thank you Tyler and josh, thank you.

The band who saved me from myself.The band of two boys.The band with the abitlity to make anyone feel like the are worth it.The band I could listen to and never get tired of them.A boy who survived depression.A boy with no plan B.A boy who can sing like a God.A boy who can play the drums like a God.The band with one of the kindest clique.The band who started young.The band who have fans who accept everyone.This band. Twenty One Pilots. Just two boys. It's crazy, really. They have done so much. They don't care, If their fans are straight, homosexual; overweight (you're beautiful), skinny; If they're insane, sane; pansexual, gender fluid, transgender, a gender, they love us for who we are. They have their ups and downs. But they are some of the kindest people I could imagine! And... I don't even know them. I am not doing this for likes. In fact, I'm doing this because I felt it was right. They might not see this but that's not the point. I went to the Emotional Roadshow Tour in KCMO on June 10, 2016. UNFORGETTABLE. It was amazing. Ask me in 21 years. I'll be 34. I will be able to tell you that during goner everyone was screaming when Tyler was. I'll tell you that the backdrop for Stressed Out was a house. I'll tell you that when Tyler talked to us, the people a few rows down cried. I'll tell you that the people next to me and my cousin were light headed so I bought them water. I could tell you that Mute Math made their way to one of my favorites, and that we starred in a Chief Special video. I could tell you sooo much. In fact I have. I hope that someone reads this and smiles. That's all I want. That's all we want. As a community. Smile. Sing. And Be Yourself. |-/It's us against the world darling, so lets not waste time dreaming of it when we could be making it happen. :)

Mutemath gave these songs an even richer sound with the higher focus on actual instruments and this whole dark, eerie, indie feel just brings out even more of what I think these songs already had or tried to begin with. I feel like I'm just hearing live remixing because Tyler and Josh hardly alter their style much. Mutemath is doing just about everything here and I really love what they're bringing out from these songs. I wanna see these two bands team up more in the future, they work so elegantly together. Seriously though, Heathens sounds so refreshing hearing it like this (especially after I'd heard it way too much on the radio last year). I also really want to check out Mutemath after hearing all this. They must sound awesome.

I would also argue that Paul Meany has had a massive influence over the band's mixing since Trench. Wouldn't be surprised if Paul Meany helped Tyler come up with the MTV Unplugged remixes or even tour remixes, like reconstructed Redecorate or Takeover Tour Heavydirtysoul. I mean, Paul Meany DID make the Stressed Out Mellowmatics remix, which has since been featured in the Livestream/Cinema Experience AND shows up on a lot of live shows.
