@@marpercovich I saw them live in Vancouver recently, and the timbre and pitch of his natural speaking voice REALLY took me by surprise. I've watched so much video footage of him where he speaks as he sounds here, so the difference was extremely unexpected and a little shocking to my ear, and by extrapolation, to my own assumptions as a fan. Funny how you can get to thinking you kind of know someone somehow, from all the many hours of listening to and watching them, through various media. Then you experience them in person, and bam, you realize how very little you actually do, on just a basic audible level, never mind as an actual human being.

he just gets lost in music and it looks beautiful cause he’s enjoying it, in his own art that he creates he’s so talented and unique and skilled. No one can never be Tyler Joseph or Joshua Dun.
@RampagingKnight25 жыл бұрын
People need to stop calling artists like ToP and Panic and shit "Talented" because that takes away from what they really are, skilled. The ability to create music and perform it is a skill, that they've honed, that they've probably tirelessly worked at. It's not a talent it's hard work, and it's damn impressive because it's not easy for most people.

Im just watching this now in 2024, and the way he opened up Ride with the reconstructed beat... It really reminds me of his old beats in Regional at Best. The beats brought be back. I fell in love with their music when I was in 7th grade, before I struggled with depression. Now almost 7 years later some of their oldest and newest songs help me so much. Thank you Tyler and Josh for caring about their fans so much and for HELPING us.

My son introduced his music to me a few years ago. I’m 42 now and I still love them! I was diagnosed with a severe mental illness about six months ago and his music has really played to my emotions and I feel, even if he doesn’t have one that he understands mental illness. His music is my shield, my security from the wolves.
@blackroseofnight47602 жыл бұрын
My life has also been enlightened by this band. I went back to their first albums and listened to those songs and found a few wonderful songs as well. There really isn't a song by them that I don't like. I had already fallen in love with his voice how strongly his words affect me, when last year my 13 year old son was diagnosed with cancer. He has stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma. It all came so fast and so horribly. We had just gotten off a year of covid 19 and then, it just came out of no where. My beautiful, amazing, incredibly smart baby is sick. Sick enough to be dying. And I can't do anything about it. There's something so incapacitating about finding something like that out. And you want to just take your baby out of that hospital and run. And just pray they were wrong. I did pray, prayed like I never had before, now it's just the waiting. The chemo that so miraculously taken all of the cancer out of his body, has stopped working. It's the most painful dread, the wanting to pretend like everything is ok. But not being able to. Twenty one pilots has helped me and my son get through this terrible time in our lives, in tact and with the ability to still smile and enjoy the good days. To take the bad days slowly and actually live for ourselves.
