So it is a AI narration which makes it sound very robotic in some places. However we are searching far and wide to find more realistic AI narrations. Thank you for your comment ❤️

The narrator did an OK job. His cadence was kind of off on some sentences, very choppy and he completely mispronounced a great many words.

The book was read aloud by a computer.

Boring? A work of genius with much to say to our day about liberty and exploration, political and military power. Perhaps: 1 like many other volumes of it's age. there are moments with inspiration imbedded in lots of, to the modern ear, unnecessary detail. 2. the other point is this is the inspiration, the great grandfather, of much current writing, current science fiction. that means the pieces of inspiration have been re-used over and over with much entertainment but now seem as uninspired as Saturday morning cartoons. Captain "Nemo" (Latin:" No One" I wonder if "Capt Farragut" is related to the Star Treck ship the "Farragut" (May need fact check.) 3: Written shortly after the American "Civil War" It is now out of historical context. At the time of it's writing the British Empire, by it's navy, , ruled something like a quarter of the world (may need fact checking there.) The run up to WW1 was "Gunboat Politics". For all the same reasons that Inter-ballistic Missiles and aviation command military strength, then it was Naval. The exploration of space, at the time, was the exploration of the ocean. 4. It was edited for political reasons, but Verne identified with the plight of the American Indians, the suppression of Polish Democracy/government by France's then Ally, Russia. .It can be argued that George Orwell's 1984 owes something to 20,000 Leagues. He is French, which while admiring the United States versions of democracy may have had other thoughts about the mechanized horror of the "Civil " war. Even the naming of the War Ship "Abraham Ljncoln." 5. It was written as a serial, like other "boring" Classics meant to be digested in small quanta. today's attention span condenses it to a 90 minute movie with gratuitous violence and sexual spice. A car chase in there somewhere. .Like movies being disappointing for people who have "Read The Book" so our imagination provides more detail than the verbal version. Reading does not always translate into listening well.

A timeless book but Computer Generated narration detracts a bit too much.

@@ProjectMartinville If possible, could you get a person to read? Its more fun to listen to.

@@normalperson659 Our whole concept is with AI technology. With that said we might look into reading ourselves in the future but for now we are using strict AI.
