You’ll like Twice’s “I Can’t Stop Me” as well. It has a similar sound. Most of their title songs, though, move through various genres from song to song. The group has 9 members-5 Korean, 3 Japanese, and 1 Taiwanese. They all can sing and dance, but there are also 3 rappers. Another song you will probably like is “More and More.” While Black Pink is probably the most well-known K-Pop girl group worldwide, Twice is actually the top selling k-pop girl group of all time. Currently, they are in South America on a world tour after being the first girl group to sell out So-Fi Stadium in L.A. and Met-Life Stadium in NY, as part of the US leg of the tour. They will be returning to a sold out show at Allegiant Stadium in Lad Vegas on March 16.

Usually Nayeon and Jihyo (best vocalists) get the chorus parts, but what I love about this song is Tzuyu and Sana got half a chorus each. Usually Mina (girl in the very beginning and climbed the stairs near the end) does the soft breathy parts, and Chaeyoung (girl with the guitar) and Dahyun and sometimes Momo (the 2 doing the ribbon dance) do the rapping but they all also sing. Other than that it's whoever gets chosen for whatever line, not sure how they decide

You would have a lot of fun reacting to TWICE. They are a 9 member group (5 korean, 3 Japanese, 1 taiwanese) who have been in the industry now for 8 going on 9 years (debuted end of 2015). They are the best selling kpop female group of all time with a discography probably over 200 songs deep in 3 different languages (Korean, Japanese, and now English). It's funny when people run into them fo the first time they think they're fluent in English but they practice and dedicate a lot of time to getting the pronunciation right. Only 1 or 2 of the members are somewhat fluent in English so it's really surprising how good their English tracks are. Funny thing about the MV is that it was shot in November in Busan and it was FREEZING but they make the MV feel so warm you'd think it was shot in late summer or early fall when it was still more temperate. There is actually a reaction video they put out reacting to the MV and giving behind the scenes details so check that out! Also an easy way to get a glimpse of their personalities. They are actually incredibly known for their intricate choreo and formations but this track was just a chilled out toned down MV. You'll see their choreo in just about all their other MVs.

TWICE IS EVERYTHING!! Definitely check out: I can't stop me, Moonlight sunrise, Set me Free, more and more, cry for me. All of those have a similar vibe. Twice is the biggest kpop GG and sold more album than ANY OTHER! They have over 100.award.show.wins. I could list endless accomplishments such as their current tour- they are the ONLY kpop GG to play AND sell out Sofi stadium and Melife stadium AND played for 70k people in Japan (biggest stadium available). Their current song I Got You went #1 in 41 countries and debuted #2 on spotify global. There are 9 members to the group, they've been together 8 years as a group and they are FAMILY through and through. They love each other more than anything else.

From my understanding the producers assign the individual song parts to the members they feel best suit the particular color of the song. The powerful vocal parts, choruses and ad libs, tend to go to the 3 with the strongest voices (Nayeon, Jihyo and Jeangyeon) and the rap parts to Chaeyoung, Dahyun and Momo. As their voices and talents have matured, however, the members are all taking on more varied rolls within the songs.

TWICE was formed in 2015 through the survival TV show SIXTEEN (a bit like "American Idol" or "The Voice", but with the specific goal to generate the group TWICE). Some candidates were already trainees under JYP Entertainment. These training periods before a group can even think about their debut with incredibly hard in-house evaluations can last from 5 to 10 years. Regarding the line distribution in a bigger group like TWICE (9 members is not regarded as a lot of people), there is a system in every K-Pop group, as far as I am aware, with main vocal(s), lead vocal(s), sub vocal(s) (sorted from main to sub). The main vocals are the absolute best singers, which doesn't mean lead and sub can't sing great. The same system is in place with the rappers (mostly more than one). So, if a feature is added to a song, it is explicitly stated and she/he is not part of the group. For most of their title tracks TWICE has a very intelligent and balanced line distribution - although fans of a single member or members (myself included) will always complain about not enough lines in a song for them. If you want to know how the conditions during the filming of the music video of "I Got You" were, watch the "Behind the scenes" of the song on TWICE's KZbin channel. They were freezing their behinds off in that field dancing and lipsynching for the camera (South Korea has real seasons and at the moment it's in the middle of winter). And the boat was a nightmare for the members with seasickness...

Le Sserafim is actually a relatively new group haha. In the discussion of groups that are still going and popular, Twice is pretty OG (Almost same age as BlackPink for context). Kpop uses generations Twice is part of the 3rd generation Leseraffin is 4th and they have just started the 5th (don't ask me why). Twice is the best selling girl group of all time and with over 40 M/V they can keep you busy for awhile, although the magic really happens on their B-sides, if you don't know all non title tracks are B-sides and there are over 200 of them. Twice is just different to the point that some of their songs actually get better when heard live with a rock band, try Touchdown or Dance the night Away. If you want OG try Red Velvet debuted 2014, before Twice and Blackpink, 2016 which debut after them. Those two groups got me in to Kpop but Twice is who I listen too. OT9 forever (a Twice promise to us ONCE's, fan base name, that they would always remain a 9 member group this song reaffirms that promise).

With this you completed the JYPE (Korean) Girl Group trifecta. TWICE (since 2015) , Itzy (since 2019) and our babies NMIXX (since 2022) . If we add their Japanese "sisters" NiziU (since 2020), considering each of them give a different vibe , I'm set for my Pop listening needs. TWICE were , are and always will be my top group because their earlier music was a happy uplifting pill capable of curing depression and their more recent stuff (post 2020) are filled with sounds from my childhood which hits me with nostalgia. What's also special about TWICE (and the vast majority of , if not all , JYPE artists) is their characters and how down to earth and humble they are despite their fame , status and achievements.
