TWICE in New York - My Concert Experience! (clips, review, comments)

I drove almost 1800 miles Thursday - Sunday from Richmond Virginia to see them in Atlanta (16 hours south round trip) and the first New York show (12 hours north round trip); and it was more than worth every hour/mile)! It’s Monday now and I’m still on a Twice high watching all of the fan cams from not only those two shows; but the other five as well! And even though we paid to see them; they made us Onces feel like we were the stars of the night! It was an AMAZING experience that I will never forget; and I miss them so much; and I hope that we do have the honor of seeing them again in the future!!! 🤞

Jihyo is my bias and she always gives 💯 every performance. Her energy is unmatched and you can tell how much she loves performing and how passionate she is. I could only watch the concerts through vids but I can watch them over and over no questions. Twice is my ult group and you can’t help but smile when they perform. One day I’ll get a chance to go to a live concert. Great review and glad you had fun!

I went to the ATL concert and it was my first Kpop concert since discovering Kpop 2 years ago, and this just made my whole life complete. This is what I needed. Twice is a class act and really put in the effort for us, Fighting! Now - We need a Loona world tour, lets gooooooooo!

Dude! We had virtually identical seat positions but at different cities. Those seats were the best of both worlds. Jihyo played the crowd like an instrument.

watching this brings back my post-concert depression... i went to the show in oakland and i'm so sad it's over because who knows if i will ever have the chance to see them again. but if i do, i want floor seats. my seats were amazing, but now that i've seen the whole stage i wanna be up close. twice is my ult group, sana is my ult bias, and the show was incredible. i wish i had the means to have gone to all of the US shows like some onces did but alas i don't have money like that... :( so jealous of those who could do that. like how do they have that kinda money holy shit LOL. my dad drove me 8 1/2 hours in order to see them in oakland, i wish i lived in a big city. no one comes to oregon *sobs* anyway, glad you enjoyed the show, they're truly "one in a million", huh? :') edit: i also come from a background of a lot of smaller bands- as a teenager i would get to the venue at like 8am and wait to meet the bands haha. it really makes kpop idols (especially those as big as twice) seem extra larger than life...

Props to your dad, for real! Definitely appreciate what ya got, you'll be able to afford the luxuries later in life. I would've never dreamed of spending $800 on a single ticket to a concert, but now that I'm 30 I can kiiiiiinda make it work haha. It was still extremely indulgent. It's TWICE though!

@@KpopPrince yeah i spent a lot on the trip, was gonna pay more but my mom came with last minute as a fill in for my friend who couldn't make it, and she helped with food and gas so that saved me a lot. i'm 28 so still a little time to get my shit together lol but i don't have a job right now so money is kinda tight. super happy to have seen them though, very appreciative. one of the best shows of my life

I was there with you! A few rows up from GA. It was awesome for me. I saw them in NJ in 2019 too without Mina, so happy to see them all together again and seemingly happy while having fun. Especially Jungyeon.

I'm glad you had a great time at the concert! I went to LA Day 1 with my friend and we had such a blast! My friend ended up being the one recording most of the concert because I was too busy doing the dances and singing and screaming. I am a little butthurt that other cities got Love Foolish and Last Waltz for their encores and we didn't because those are some of my favorite kpop songs ever haha, but I loved hearing the crowd sing along to a lot of the songs and hype the members up. We both agreed this was one of our favorite concert experiences!

Props to Momo for being the main dancer and I realized after watching my clips, but she slayed all her lines even with all that dancing. Push & Pull live performance definitely slapped harder than ppl expected.

Yeah. Cry for Me was amazing live. All the unit songs were so memorable. I would have loved to hear Say Something as well! But they gave us so much. I can’t complain. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Must have been amazing to be so close. Great review!

Loved your experience! I had the oportunity to see them here in Mexico in 2019 and it was also amazing!! They are just super stars, I hope they come to Mexico again soon and I obviously will be there again, can't wait to listen and see the performances of their new songs!!!

Thank you for saying you went by yourself, because that's what's been stopping me. In 2019, I had plenty of tickets in shopping carts (Red Velvet, Dreamcatcher, others I don't remember) and I stopped because I would have been going by myself. I'm not going to let that stop me again. Thanks for setting an example.

Great recap! And I think I know what line you were in. My poor friend was about fourth in line and it felt like it took him 15 minutes to get a beer. Ha ha. I was lucky enough to go to LA1 and 2, Atlanta, and NY1. Atlanta was probably my favorite stop since I was row 2 in front of the extended stage, but every show was amazing and the energy was great. As you mentioned, Jihyo is a performer and she gave it her all on stage. (I imagined a little 🔥 over her head) It's too bad that craft cocktails caused you to miss the Feels because it was electric and the screams for Jeongyeon gave me goosebumps every time. Hopefully we get another shot and more of our friends around the world do to. Cheers!

i'm not at any their tour, but as i saw from fan cam, consider Dahyun is not in her best condition, she did super great job there. and yes Jihyo! her energy is so high. (this one, even the encore ended, she still keep singing, right? might be Nayeon? :D) and Mina in 'rolling', 'espresso', '132', ... she is insanely dangerous. and Jeongyeon, i'm glade she made it. all the members are so great, Momo, Nayeon, Sana, Chaeyoung (i realized, Chaeyoung is dangerous too. especially in 'love foolish' and 'rolling'), and yes, Tzuyu. they are all so great. i'm envy and also happy for anyone who go to the concert, truly believed you're all enjoy it. have a good day. :)

@@a2dazgod539 Lol good one, are you just farming haters? I was at the Atlanta show and from what I could see it was mostly young adult in their 20's who attended. And beyond that, the gender ratio between male and female is similar, with a slight imbalance towards female (60/40 I'd say?). So if you are arguing that Twice's fan appeal is towards specifically towards female teens, I'm sad to inform you but you are most definitely wrong. Its never been like that.
