@@AHufflepuffAndASwiftie The reason they couldn't do that was because Renesmee needed to be a lot more reactive than a baby of that age. It wouldn't have worked with a child that young. No one that age could react the way they needed it to react to show Renesmee's maturity when she looked like a six-month-old. However, I really wish they'd just used the real faces of the slightly older girls. That would have worked better.

As a former Twihard, I have to say that this story is completely 100% unhinged, and we were all unhinged for being so invested in this madness. I was fully on board until Jacob imprinted on Reneesme. When that happened, 18 yr old me went on my blog and wrote the ANGRIEST rant about it. Now it's all sort of a guilty/cringe pleasure that is somehow more hilarious than I ever realized. And then the whole audience was in uproar. They truly got us. It was really intense and I wasn't even that into the series.

It feels just like yesterday I was in the movie theater watching this with my mom. It’s crazy the thing it’s been 12 years since this movie came out. When the second one came out, my mom and I went to a meet and greet with one of the cast members and it was for Peter Facinelli , who played Carlisle and my mom had a huge crush on him. when we went up to talk to him. She told him she just thought he was an amazing guy and he turned around and said thank you… can I give you a hug!! I was so jealous😄 we joked around afterwards and I said if we meet Robert Pattinson, I’m the one who gets to hug him😆

Technically Alice doesn't get things wrong. The future changes based on decisions. If you foresee someone's demise, but you tell them, they can make a choice and change the outcome. It doesn't mean the original prediction was wrong.

if I remember correctly, I’m pretty sure they CGI her face so that way it could be a childlike version of Mackenzi Foy the actress that played her. And then they would digitally age the same face as she got older since she ages so quickly. They didn’t want to get several different actresses, but at the same time, the CGI is not great either way lol but that’s the “reason”😂

I remember everyone in the theater laughing and freaking out when they saw that CGI demon baby. Like, you're telling me dozens of people spent weeks on this, and a management team signed off on this, and they did audience tests with this and THIS is what they came up with, and instead of going hey, this is a trainwreck, this looks awful, it's not even moving in the same space and time as everything around it, they went, okay, let's get another couple of them older and creepier for the second part.

The reason for why they used a CGI baby instead of a real one is being they wanted the baby to have certain controlled responses, and almost behave in an adult like way. The scenes going from Bella reading to Renesmee in bed up until the last scene with her…..at that point it was a real girl playing that role, and the girl was actress Mackenzie Foy who was also in Interstellar as well as The Conjuring (the first movie) as Cindy Perron. Ironically enough, in the clip of Alice having a vision of Renesmee in the future of her being at least 18, Mackenzie Foy is currently either 22 or 23 now and she looks exactly how as Alice pictured her in that vision which is crazy considering that in that clip Renesmee is CGI’d to look older. So the producers basically foreshadowed what Mackenzie Foy would actually look like as an audit today, by using CGI.

I love when people react to the series and like it and some don’t and I know this movie gets so much shit this whole saga gets crap but when it came out, it was such a big deal and that’s what people failed to realize it’s like back when this first came out this was huge. I went to every midnight premier in this whole battle was not in the book that you didn’t see what was gonna happen in the vision so everyone that theater was screaming at oh my God, are you kidding me now, crying screaming I still watch this series til this day I’ll have a marathon because for me it’s a pleasure I love when it came out the nostalgia for me with it and I think it’s funny that all a lot of people now who have seen it say it’s so stupid like you were the biggest fan of it when it came out, but it’s such a big thing to hate twilight that so many jump on the bandwagon I was a fan of the movies back in the day and I’m a fan of them now and I’ve always loved the books and I am proud to say that some people give me a weird look like are you serious you like that? I’m like yes I do like it is it cheesy is there red flag of course but it was a movie. It was a book get over it. My favorite scene of all this would have to be the very end when Bella lets her shield down because the one thing Edward could never do was read her mind so she lets her shield down and he finally read her mind

Y’all need to check out The Storytellers: New Voices of The Twilight Saga. There are 7 videos that tell other the stories of some of the other vamps. There are 3 Alice stories. The best being The Mary Alice Brandon File. The second best is a story of when Jasper and Alice first met. There is an Esme story, one with Carlisle and Garrett, one with Aro meeting Jane and Alec, and one with the Egyptians. They are very good. I think you would love them.

In the book there was no fight scene, real or a vision. They literally just talked and then the Volturi left. So for people who had read the book or knew how it went it was a complete shock. Watching this in theatres was CRAZY. People screamed and cried. First when Carlisle was killed, then Jasper, Seth and Leah. And when it turned out to be Alice's vision it was such a WTF moment. But at least for me it was a good shock 'cuz I was so mad they killed them, especially Carlisle. I feel like that ending with Jacob and Renesmee was kind of cheap. It's like the most obvious thing to make them a couple. But it was clearly stated that imprinting doesn't have to be romantic. It can be a friend/brother but above all a protector. Also, imprinting is NOT a choice, it's absolutely beyond your control. Maybe it's just my biased opinion but I do feel like Stephanie Meyer did Jacob dirty in the later books (because apparently she didn't like that people were rooting for him and Bella instead of Edward and Bella). Edward was less creepy and Bella was definitely better as a vampire but I never really cared for them, even by the end. I hate that one of my favourite songs is always gonna be associated with them (A Thousand Years). Charlie was the best. I'm glad he got a happy ending and I understand they were protecting him but I feel they should have told him the truth. Charlie, Carlisle, Jasper, Emmett and Sam were DADDIES. Esme, Alice, Rosalie, Leah and Jessica were MOTHERS. I wasn't as into these books/movies as many others but I still choked up a bit at the end when they showed everyone in the credits. Now I enjoy roasting the hell out of the movies and watching other people watching them/roasting them 😂 Fun fact: The eyes of the God awful CGI baby (which, can you believe it, was even worse initally - they literally called it Chuckesmee because it resembled Chucky: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZuypqxjfbSWnZosi=9CdDEJYNkZ6LuTQw) were inspired by Kristen Stewart's eyes from photos of her as a baby and the team also created the teenage version using the same tech that is used to help find missing children. Another fun fact: Maggie Grace, who plays Irina, played Ian Somerhalder's stepsister on LOST. If you don't know, Ian played a vampire on The Vampire Diaries AND he is married to Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie in Twilight.
