Thanks for sharing this video. I like it when you display the number of the pencil along with the name. It is much easier for me to grab my pencil.😍

Too funny. Because your colored pages so come to life, I had to look twice in Bloomster Mandala to find Twilight Garden. I have to share something. Because I have Chromecast I send your channel to my bedroom TV so I can watch you while relaxing, I'm dealing with a lot of pain.Thank you.

Chris, I noticed that you don’t sharpen your pencils to a fine point! What do you sharpen them with? I don’t like to waste my pencils by sharpening them to a fine point either but it’s hard not to do!

Thanks for the feedback LaMesha. When I do a Chris picture I am exhausted by the time I am finished from the level of concentration. Then I do one from Julie's Passion for Pencils. Another great talent who lives in Belgium.

But that's MY routine! LOL I just love Julie, she also has a good sense of color. No one colors like she does. She definitely has her own technique and it's fun coloring along. Two other "alternates" I enjoy coloring along with (there are others),, are "Shirley XL. Y" and "Yvonne Döring" here on KZbin. I learn from them all but I've definitely learned the most from Chris. I just finished Chris' "Dream" from Romantic Country 2 - the one with the reflections in the water. I'm feeling a bit tired but here I am looking for my next project, lol, when I saw your comment. Have a good one!

More drop dead gorgeous work. I am so anxiously awaiting this book. Ordered it in Sept and should release here in March. Everything you have done out of it so far is to die for. I am working on a midnight background now in another book that I hope will turn out half as well as yours. Such a beautiful talent you have.

First thing this morning looked for part two. I am speechless with admiration. This is absolutely stunning. Are you a trained artist or did you just fall down from Heaven?
@lameshahale29908 жыл бұрын
Eleanor Dixon My thoughts EXACTLY! She trained herself. I've been following her for awhile, and asked her the same question lol.

I know, right?! I guess she's just one of those amazing people who have a natural eye for depth, shadow and light and colour. It's incredible and enjoyable and it makes me so jealous at the same time ☺. Although I do feel it's something you can learn to some extent. I've definitely have started to see development in my pages. I was one of those people who just couldn't figure out how shadows fall. But by standing back and really thinking about it, I'm trying to find the correct places for shadows and it seems to be working. It's even more amazing that we can watch videos like these and learn from them.

LifeJunkie Absolutely! I can definitely see from my pages that I have picked up a lot of her techniques. And I sometimes use the colors that she chooses for like a leaf and incorporate it to other leaves. I have learned so much from her. How to color raindrops, how to use the white gel pen, color trees, etc. I love Chris lol

Dear Chris, your work is just fantastic! You have a high sense of balance of the colours but also how to harmonize them. To see your work helps me to keep on my own creations and paint or draw with you while I am coloring too. Please come and see my artwork too on artmajeur.com and share too! Anne d'Orion
