when I played this game, it wasn’t just me playing it, my brothers and brothers friends would take turns and advancing in the game was crazy but I was also very young so I didn’t understand the story, the game felt so mysterious and I thought this part was crazy, I still think the game is very mysterious

Can’t blame her. She might be the only ruler seeing how we don’t see her parents or anyone just her. If she had fought back… she would have taken the lives of many so she chose to let them live but sealed for their safety.

I think it's open to interpretation, and that's ultimately imo the final plot twist when she reveals her true form, that she in fact was the Twilight Princess all along.

I know this may never get replied to, but could anyone direct me to the cutscene where Link gets defensive of Zelda on the balcony and tries to guard her; only to have her touch his arm and try to calm him; leading them both to nod. Also, the other cutscene where she asks for his power and he offers his hand?

They're actually kind of the same cutscene. It's the cutscene right before the horseback battle against Ganondorf, after Midna has warped Link and Zelda onto Hyrule Field

Out of sarcasm and mockery. Bearing in mind that even Zelda didn't realise that Midna was the princess until she asked Zelda to help Link find the Mirror of Twilight. It was at that point that Zelda connected the dots. So Zelda would have also seen it as not much more than a snarky comment.
