You only actually need two, you're just not allowed to access any files that weren't created during the run. If you have an SD card, you can go into the Wii settings and save your savefile to the SD card in order to back it up, so you'll never have to worry about losing it!

The vine climbing in this game is soooo slow

Once you have the hook/clawshot you can speed it up a bit by aiming for the top of a vine column and climbing up just that section

Is there an explination on how you did the lakebed entrance glitch with midna? Im trying to replicate what u did but its just not working

There's some info here but no great tutorial really www.zeldaspeedruns.com/tp/msb/early-lakebed#midna-dive-in-twilight-wii-only However, this only works on Wii on 1.0 versions. If you check the back of your disc and it says RVL-RZDE-0A-2 then you have 1.2 and that glitch is impossible. If it says RVL-RZDE-0A-0 then it's possible

So the reason we go back to howl at the Sacred Grove stone is to set a flag called Early Boss Fights, which we can use to fight the Deku Toad early. The way it's done here is not related to Back in Time (but doing a trick called Back in Time Equipped will also set a similar flag - however that's not done here). This EBF flag is carried over back to our Lakebed save, and when we walk into the back of the the Deku Toad room later on, we can activate the fight early. More info: www.zeldaspeedruns.com/tp/tech/early-boss-fights The short version is that if we go into certain boss rooms with this flag set, we can do them early, pretty much. Spawning in the first room in Lakebed isn't actually related, it just so happens that if we have the Master Sword, if we savewarp back, it just puts us in that room which is convenient. ​@@billiebonkaI'm not so sure that, i've entered lakebed early with the Ordon sword. I get stuck at the beginning of the dungeon and have to swim my way up, alternatively, the Master sword makes you spawn at the end of the tunnel.

Yep! I do it in this run when I enter lakebed, the part where I howl at sacred grove. For early monkeys though its a bit different. The route I do can't do it for that, but if you do a much more difficult route (which noone had ever done when i did this run) then you can. The main thing is the only way I can leave faron is by beating forest temple, and wii cant get to the boss with ebf since the chain wont form.

@@Simikins I did my fair share in speedrunning on GameCube and best I've gotten was 3h46m. Never posted it or anything just playing for fun. But these glitches are a trip. Congrats on the run though

How did you get the guy to give you iron boots early?

The glitch at the start where I saved on the title screen sets a flag in the game's memory that says I have Epona tamed. Having Epona tamed is what lets you get Iron Boots, so you can get boots basically immediately from that!

What did you do at 14:40 and why did you do it?

This is a trick called Sword and Shield Skip, where we lure that bulblin close to the barrier and do a long jump attack with him to jump *over* a trigger and allow us to leave. Unless you steal the sword and shield from Ordon at the start, if you try to leave here Midna just tells you to go back because you don't have them. Because of the title screen glitch (called Back in Time) at the start, I am unable to steal the sword and shield, so this jump attack is a requirement to proceed. What did you do at the beginning that was sick!

First he did a glitch called rod on gate clip to glitch through the gate by using a rock, side hoping, and rolling. Then on the bridge he did a glitch called back in time where if you pause the game and reset at certain spot, it puts link onto the total screen of the game. Then you have to jump off elfin bridge and them save and you skip some of Orion. Its pretty cool
