***** It is still a good show. And it has gone through a lot changes. We have to get used to it, the show can't stay the same all the time, other wise we just get bored of it. Of course they need to make changes. But of course, not all changes are good, but we shouldn't let them bother us too much.

***** So you say episodes like "Flight To the Finish", "Twilight Time", "Pinkie Pride" and other good episodes of S4 are "corrupted"? And I think EqG was NOT a way to end the series. And things always change, and I don't think Bronies are the main reason for change. Ever since Hasbro noticed how it was also affecting older viewers, they realised they could "loosen up" MLP. And I think it was around S2 that the Brony fandom became fully active and so on. And if you look at Lauren Fausts original sketches of the series, you might notice they don't so much "innocence" in them.

Especially if they really go back into G1 roots, just look at G1 E1, Midnight Castle with THAT Tirek, It was some dark stuff back in the day. Imagine going back to that, with access to DnD stuff!

I know they still have a whole world to work with. They still have areas of Equestria they haven't touched. And now that we know Equestria is just one kingdom, we can assume there would be other countries or kingdoms nearby. Possibly like Saddle Arabia or Maretonia. It would be interesting to see Twilight and her friends get sent to other countries to help settle political turmoil. Oh well, we'll have to wait and see.

That kind of comment always annoys me slightly, to be honest. Especially when people specify it as "little girls" rather than just "kids", which happens a lot with this show. People seem to have such a low expectation for what kind of intensity or adult jokes etc kids can handle, it's really strange.

This finale and the whole series in general is 31 flavors of excellence, in my humble opinion. The table in Twilight's new castle reminded me more of King Arthur than Game of Thrones. But the fight scenes were definitely out of DBZ's playbook

I don't. I still think This Day Aria is the best song just because it clearly had the most effort put into it. While it's nice to finally hear Luna sing, that really isn't a good reason for it to be your favorite. It's still one of the best songs in this show; don't get me wrong. It's just that it isn't as well made as This Day Aria. I've already stated many times that Luna is one of, if not the most, overrated characters in this show.

Yes, You'll Play Your Part does have more meaningful lyrics than This Day Aria. What I meant was that This Day Aria is clearly a more artistic song. The music accents the lyrics nicely, the voice is good, and the accompanying animation is good. While the music wasn't bad in You'll Play Your Part, you really can't compare the two.

TwoGrayWolfz This is nothing compared to the dark kids shows I saw when I was little. Gargoyles from Disney, Batman(the Old cartoon show, it was as dark as the new movies, maybe even darker), Transformers(people died a lot in the old Cartoon, and it is Hasbro´s work aswell). Hell, even Pocahontas and Bambi are darker movies then this, cuz some people actually dies in them(and not to forget that In Pocahontas a war almost started), so yeah, this is a kids show, just because it had a big battle with destruction, it´s story is still very friendly and happy(seriously, they forgave Discord even though he betrayed them all for power, that is such a kids show like thing to do). So I gotta ask, what kinda Kids show did you watch? Builder Bob?(oh, I hate that show, my little cousin watched it like mad, then after a year of taking care of him, I made him watch a less stupefying kids shows)
