When the other twin says "In ablut 10 to 15 yrs,there will be no more survivors who were eyewitnesses...", there's a sobering reminder of the passing of time. So happy these brothers lived so long and raised beautiful families

I am glad i know these things, I would not be here typing this comment if it were not for the U.S. Army who liberated the camp my great great gramps was in. The SS guards ran like little girls when they heard the U.S. and British army approching is what they always said. Why can't we have much more stories told from a young age, about the Holocaust. I was ill as a child and was either mostly at home, or hospital. We need more support with education, for people who are ill specially kids...

I have an ancestor who was a nazi and I also have both identical twins and fraternal twins in the family (I was an identical twin in the womb (vanishing twin syndrome) but I heard that was kinda common in the family bc that might of happened to my grandmother as well) I wonder if it's a coincidence or if nazi's experimented on their own families without them knowing ☠️ (I think ancestor was like a great ×2 or ×3 uncle? Idk it takes creepy uncle to a new level tho XD)

Questions: 1) your father lived to be 105 who was Hungarian and a survivor (interesting) 2) you survived by Gods grace and was moved away from the war. 3) you know poeple got on trains and never were seen again (were they being taken to safety or where there was food/resources? 4) you are alive and well. 5) your teeth were examined (which no 11 year old boy likes the dentist) 6) your head was measured 7) your blood was taken And these were horrible experamints? I understand being separated from your family is terrible, but that separation saved your life during uncertain times. 8) Did you see kids tortured or harmed? Im confused. I was thinking they would have seen worse. Sounds like they had a trip to the pediatrician. Its very expensive and complicated way to kill people in gas chambers and rail cars. Gassing was an American thing. I always wondered if they were trying to get away from the war and to safety and the infrastructure collapse wasnt what caused their demise. Why gas? Why not put a bullet in their heads? Why gas? This never has made sense to me. I am so grateful these Hungarian men made it to America. Beautiful story of Gods grace "being a twin saved me".
@wettowelggh30338 ай бұрын
The documentaries about why they chose to use gas are actually very interesting if u still care to look into them. It started out by nazi death squads gathering large groups of Jews and making them dig their own mass graves before shooting them all. but this both used a lot of bullets and would really shake the soldiers up (we now know the condition as PTSD). So one of the men from Hitler's inner circle came up with the idea of gassing them all, which would be more impersonal, thus not give the soldiers PTSD. And it wasted less bullets. As far as why these twin's experience does not seem so bad to you, it's likely because the news channel cannot give too many gory details. Mangele was a sick guy who loved sadistically torturing people. He'd purposely inject people with diseases to see what cures would work, he'd cut them open and put things in wounds to assure infection, he'd dump people in freezing water to give them hypothermia or frost bite, and amputate limbs for various different reasons. There was even a case of him sewing a pair of twins TOGETHER to try and make conjoined twins. It's very likely he did much more to these two men than what they said here, maybe they've spoken about it in other videos.
@hduehfsjdjdj43737 ай бұрын
Don’t you dare compare the holocaust to a trip to the pediatrician. The Nazis were monsters and just because the story he shared didn’t scare you, these twins and every other person in the holocaust went through a thousand times more torture and trauma than anyone in their generation.
@Iwasnothere67346 ай бұрын
@@wettowelggh3033to even make a statement like, “these are horrible experiments?” Is so utterly disrespectful. This man may have other experiences that he’s not comfortable sharing. It was the holocaust for gods sake. Show some damn respect.

I think that what happened in Germany strongly suggests that there are a lot of people amongst us who aren't psychopaths, but have some psychopathic traits. They're not sick enough to be dysfunctional, they CAN obey societal norms and fit in. But give them a system like Nazi Germany and it all comes out.
