Just brilliant to see some one that knows what they are doing. I enjoyed this whole Twincam series. These Harley engines are pretty simple to work on as long as there are helpful video's like this to watch. This guy has built some nice Harley's over the years.

You really enjoy your work and it shows. I really like how you explain clearly what you want your assistants to do before going forward. You might want to buy a hand impact driver, something we used on early metric bikes and their butter metal hardware. Great Videos!

is it ok to heat the torx bolts that hold the balance plate to the engine to soften the locktite?

tw, as TheBeliever said above, get a Hand Impact driver. One of the greatest tools for working on bikes. Especially old metric engines that use phillips screws on casing covers.
