Hi guys! I'm so sorry to go MIA on you for a few weeks! I'm finally getting a chance to edit & upload our labor and delivery vlog from the twins! It was such a crazy whirlwind of an experience (and still is) and every step of this delivery and postpartum journey has been different than what I envisioned and planned for. I'll have many more updates to share and am trying to share as much as I can over on IG as I still process and we work through our current NICU experience. When my twins arrived one had to stay in NICU for 6 weeks! Such a hard time to be away from one of your babies the whole time! But once they're home you forget about it so fast! Such a privilege to raise 2 girls! And now they are the best friends ever! Enjoy every second! It goes so fast❤

Twin mama and nicu mama here. We had our twin boys at 26+5 which gave us a 3 month nicu stay. It has its rough moments but you get through it. Hope you get to have both your baby girls home together soon❤

Wow! Watching your sons just makes me tear up honestly!! That moment must be so priceless! Thank you for sharing your life and your tips! Three years ago I watched all your videos to prepare for a baby and postpartum and I cannot even tell you how much those videos helped me have my child! Congrats! They are precious. Also so glad to hear you clarify that it was a necessary c section but not EMERGENCY c section. There's so much misunderstanding around the difference between an unplanned/necessary c section and an emergency and everyone always seems to say theirs was an "emergency" c section without understanding what that means.

When a baby heart dips it is categorized as an emergency c-section bc baby is in fetal distress. I had an emergency c section bc my sons heart rate dipped with pitocin even though I dilated 7-8cm. So her C-section was emergency c-section.. could you explain what the difference bc you state people don’t know the difference but you didn’t explain why you said that.

I’m looking forward to your c-section video coming up. To go through all that and look amazing for the camera and have time to edit it all and look after 4 kids: you are a super woman! I love those pink pjs you wore for nursing in the hospital they look fab on you. Take care of yourself, I know women who say c-section recovery can take a while. My twins pregnancy was exactly like yours except I have a boy and a girl with baby girl being the tiny one being monitored for her size and growth. We were also set to have a vaginal delivery but last minute needed a c section because the smaller twin moved down and was in position to be delivered first. Unfortunately we live in a very small town so our hospital doesn’t have a NICU and it ended up being my son that had to be moved to a hospital an hour away because he had breathing issues. I had about 1 minute with him before they needed to get him on oxygen then to the other hospital. Because I had a c section I was in the hospital for a week so I didn’t get to see him for a week. He was in the NICU for 3 weeks. What a blessing to all be in the same hospital and be able to see your babies whenever you wanted. Congratulations mama twins can be challenging but they are so worth it!

Congratulations they are both perfect ❤ in many countries the twin born second is known to be the older one due to being perceived as the baby that is bigger or further developed. I'm 31 weeks pregnant with twin girls, my 5th pregnancy, and I'm terrified one or both will have to stay in the NICU. The hospital is almost 90 minutes away and I just can't imagine being that far away from them. I hope you're all home now, congrats on your beautiful baby girls 🩷🩷

Congrats! Twin deliveries always seem wild 😂 I had my mono di girls in November and the first was vaginally and the second was an emergency c section under general anesthesia due to umbilical cord prolapse. My A and B switched also 😂
