It’s not just the scenery you record that is memorable - it’s the creative choices you make like starting an arpeggio of music as the grasses are fluttering in the breeze or by giving us a surprising redbird edit which is probably the way it surprised you on your walk. These are the moments that your many fans wait for each week.

Yes! You pointed out my favorite moments of the this video. I always do a deep breath and exhale during the grasses in the breeze. Pure calm.😌

Hi Catherine, thank you for this beautiful revisit for me to Twin Lakes CA. In my childhood, Daddy would pack all of us up with boat (on top) and trailer and drive to Twin Lakes. Very reminiscent, very nostalgic, and heart warming for me. I loved the Tiger Swallowtail butterflies, chipmunks, the incredible scenery! Dad used to tell us kids that 'Yosemite NP is right over that mountain there.' We were blessed because Dad introduced all of us to the great out of doors at a very, very young age. The quality of your videos is amazing. Thank you. :)

Love this area, it was my home for a winter back in the early 90's, I had a small cabin a couple miles towards the pass from town. Winter is harsh and not to be taken lightly. I moved into Leadville the next Spring and stayed for ten years. I know those mountains like the back of my hand as they say. Always happy to see someone on KZbin spend time around there. This video reminds me just how beautiful it is. So glad you liked it.

I wrote this before , i write it again , you are the best videographer in youtube , no one shoots like you , there is a professional , i subscribe to her Christian Schaffer , a little bit younger but she doesn't compare... no way , your footage , the angles the light , even the editing and the music , much more mature and deep...you really deserve a lot more subscribers , this is one of the best...congrats!! and ...there a strange calm that you transmit with your videos ... sometimes i believe that there was something deep in your past , maybe something that even caused you suffering but gave you something extra... i don't know...there is something extra!!

We stayed at a VRBO home just outside of Leadville. Leadville has the most incredible mining museum . Even if museums aren’t your thing, this museum will leave you astounded. We ventured south to Twin Lakes, then took Independence Pass up over the Continental Divide and down into Aspen. The (apparent) socioeconomic difference between Leadville and Aspen was quite striking.
