We've also already got Deadly Premonition and a sequel, which I personally find amazing and in the similar vein to compete with.

I should give it a try sometime. It's always looked a little silly but I suppose that's part of the charm.

If this was actually playable on the PS1 I'd be pretty impressed. I think the biggest barrier would be all the clips from the show being too large to fit in memory.
