This, right here, is proof of why there is no Twin Peaks without David Lynch. Just look at how beautiful the cinematogrophy is of just trees, mountains, and a waterfall. It pops out and then lulls you back in with its subtlety. You could never get this out of anybody else who tried to take over this project. Thank you Showtime for this wonderful early holiday gift and for getting Lynch back on board.

pretty sure I only care about twin peaks when I think about how it hasn't been on in 20 years and it's one of the best shows ever. Fargo is awesome and true detective season 1 was as well, but we haven't had anything like twin peaks since twin peaks, and lynch is directing ever episode. all the best old episodes were done by him so I can only imagine how incredible this will be with modern filmmaking techniques.

Man I don't think I will be able to handle everything if Chris Isaak, David Bowie and Kiefer Sutherland return also. FWWM was the best thing about Twin Peaks, don't get me wrong I loved the TV series but the direction and atmosphere that was getting explored in FWWM was just amazing. If Season 3 is anything along those lines then the GOAT of television has truly returned.

When they announced it was, after all (following budget issues and probably not) indeed 'happening again' 25 years later I lost it completely and sobbed like a child outside King's Cross Train Station in London (overlooked, funnily enough, by a hotel called The Great Northern).
