I honestly don't get people who complain about the absence of actual trailers and usual promotion on the channel. I'm pleasantly intrigued by the fact that we don't know anything about the plot yet and yet they released full cast & crew members lists. It's not how television usually does it. It's unique. Like "Twin Peaks" SHOULD be. "Twin Peaks" does not need usual promotion and the one designed for the series reflects the nature of it well enough.

I actually don't want a single piece of new footage to be released before the premiere. This is Twin Peaks with Lynch and most of the original cast involved, that's more than enough to get me to watch

They have this message twice because there are two agent Coopers by the end of season 2. The evil one and the good one we know and love trapped in the "other place." This may mean when the series picks back up, we'll get a glimpse of what the evil Cooper has been up to as well as the good Cooper.

Just for the sake of fueling theory-crafting: 1.) Note that the first two puzzles feature reflections while #3 and #4 do not. On the other hand, #3 and #4 are duplicates, albeit shown in a different manner. Definitely a theme of duality going on here, but is it simply a reference to the Black Lodge and/or "Doppelcooper," or is there a greater meaning to duality's "role" in Twin Peaks? (Uh, besides in that name itself. ...Or perhaps that's been part of the theme all along?) 2.) #3's music is more ominous, which -- if #3 and #4 are indeed related to the "good" and "evil" Dales -- makes it seem to represent Dale's doppelganger from the end of season two, leaving #4 to represent the original Dale. The difference I can't think of any significance behind -- if there is any in the first place -- is the way in which the letters appear. In #3, they seem to "drip" down from the top and are then pulled back up from the top, whereas #4 displays from left to right... almost as if either you're looking through a scope and panning from left to right, or like the letters themselves are a single object moving from left to right -- suggestive of a transition or relocation, perhaps? In the latter case, perhaps #4 is meant to symbolize the original Dale Cooper's return from the Black Lodge? Have fun. So hyped for this. Glad I didn't get around to watching the original series until the past year or two, but even so, I'd like to go back and re-watch it before the new season airs. I still have to watch Fire Walk With Me, too, actually.

You must get very easily amused then man. We literally just watched nothing. A trailer would do plenty. Nothing too revealing, but just enough to give a slight idea of what's going on, even just for the 1st episode. It's nice to see whats in store, to build anticipation.

I get what your saying, but at the same time, David's entire body of work has trailers for everything. I guess at this point though, since the new seasons coming out in less then a month, I am kind of glad he hasn't put a trailer out. It will be a nice surprise going into it, not entirely knowing what to expect.
