Twin plate clutch rattle is noice

I got the xclutch twin disc ceramic..lol.Getting quieter but first week I thought the throwout bearing was shot. Knew it was the intermediate plate since it only does it when fully depressed to the floor. Unreal though how smooth it shifts when I go wot etc

its a great clutch for the money, and getting told by randoms that my car sounds broken is half the fun

@@TheNodle apparently they said that noise was from an over extended break in period, and things would settle with use..Still have the intermediate plate noise, but that rattle is gone. I LOVE this clutch..Flywheel weight is perfect and downshifts are so fast and butter. Most streetable race clutch I've driven

Exedy clutch ? I have the same noise in my mx5 whit a Exedy stage 2 three plate

That is how you actually have the damn bearing rub on the pressure plate and at will break off loose in the trans between the plate and the bearing housing and pressure the pilot bearing what will go out and grenade the motor the pilot bearing rides the crankshaft and if you keep driving it like that it will sure cause your engine to grenade.

They almost all sound like this, especially with a real trans mount, stiffer crossmember bushings etc

this is the sound of the 2 plates rattling, i dont think it can be fixed besides going to a single plate clutch
