I love this I just bought one for 800 with a coolant leak fixed it and it runs perfect with 227k on the clock no more airbags its on coils now but it's really fun and I wanna do like they exact same thing as you k04 offroad build

K04s are B5 RS4 turbskis. C5 RS6 V8s have K24s which can be adapted for the 2.7T but that's not what you've got. Just a clarification.

You did all this without Vag-com? If you do have Vag-com you can adjust your ride height through VCDS.

Just got a 99 a6 quattro for nothing, needs a new MAF but I don't need a daily driver so she gonna get a 2-3" lift and sum meats and be a luxury woods vehicle! What do you have for a lift on this one and what size tires were u able to fit under it?

Original K03 is way more capable for offroading than any upgrade. It spools up quicker, delivers more torque at low rpms - definitely there when and where you need on a steep hill crawling. Just for info.

@@avant74 very true, I did not like the lag of the k04s. Right now I'm rebuilding the engine and doing a big single conversion with a gtx3582r

Ahhh, audi tech, eh? Any way to get codes when factory radio is long gone? Can bus runs thru the factory stereo as far as I've read, my zues won't read anything, and my bag com cable to laptop still won't read codes. Car runs super rich, floor it, barely gets revved, burning fuel out tail pipe. Dumped cats just cause I figured they were plugged but nope, seems like coolant sensor is stuck cold or maybe map sensor but hate throwing parts at something when I'm not sure what the issue is.

@@erik120719 make sure the k wire is cut. That prevents communication to the ecm.it’s been a while so I’m not 100% sure what color the k wire was off the top of my head. I believe it’s the gray wire on the radio harness. I’ll look it up in a bit. Once that’s not connected you’ll be able to scan the car no problem

@@ozkrow1 that'd be awesome man, looks like they just added a metra harness and didn't cut into factory wires tho, so may be have to jump two wires to restore can stream? Nm reread ur comment, needs to be cut, not connected...would appreciate the info, gonna dig around in identifix and shop key for k wire also, thanks for advice!

@@erik120719 you just have to cut the k wire. It can’t be connected. What year is your car and model so I can check what wire you should disconnect
