The LS is a great platform... After all, the block and crank orientation is VERY similar to the little Buick. The Buick setup is hard to beat inch for inch- dollar to dollar. And it's very rare that you'll find a FULLY capable, reliable and efficient(relative) daily-driver with easy 10 second ET potential that you can cruise at 80+ MPH with the A/C cranking

It's funny how there's no "shoulda got a V8" comments because it's an American motor. Yet if this channel posts some Japanese cars with Japanese motors doing well, how dare they, off with their heads, lol. Keel up the good work 1320, I love seeing the underdogs killing it.

It's because import foamers run around saying "fuck American junk!" and "V8s are for people compensating!" That's why. They forget American companies made turbo V6s better and were faster when they were built, and were built for longevity. the GNX and GMC's Typhoon and Syclone are prime examples.
@SMDTURBO8 жыл бұрын
***** Saying American V6's were better and faster is your opinion. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on American cars, I love all cars. I don't know anyone from the JDM community that say "fuck American junk". I'm a part of that community, like I said, I love all cars. I had a few older American cars, I just can't afford them right now. I think as car enthusiasts, we should all respect each other's builds and stop hating on each other.

@atmelin8 жыл бұрын
+Thisoneguyinaz I don't think so not once did he say it was the 231 aluminum. Stage 2 is completely different. Stage 2 is a Buick motorsports factory custom block. They are worth way more than 4k!!!!!! I am familiar with what motor your talking about (GN GUY Here) but I am pretty sure this is a stage 2. Also a stage 2 is a 4.1 not a 3.8 (231).
