This is such an inspiration! Here I am overthinking my engine swap project that doesn't even require fabrication. To see what you've done just working in the driveway reminds me of what can be accomplished if you just go for it.

Been following you on IG for a while. Stoked to see this. Not sure if it’s my headphones or the video itself but I’m only hearing it out of my right ear in the office shots at the start. Awesome job man

@@projectmeatball4113 the new gopros are pretty good for camera/mic quality, just need a wind sock for them. That is, if you're looking for new cameras. Streetspeed717 uses an 8, I believe? Maybe he upgraded, idk

Good project and rare... As for my Maserati the 3200gt, it's still in progress for the swap of a ls1 engine... Hopefully need a month and I'll sure share pictures after it's done..

Love it! I too am trying to figure out how to post 3 years of an LS swap on my esprit and I think you did it well. It’s tough to just jump in without bringing folks up to speed. Given me some ideas on how to approach that- like you I rather work on it that edit it.... these swaps are so overwhelming already and walking out daily thinking - which one of the 100 issues should I tackle today- gets old... I usually grab a beer and “plan”... thanks for the inspiration and i think there is a total business plan on sloppy swapping every biturbo out there! It’s a cool car and with a simple 5.3 - people would buy it up! You saved yourself like a year with Terminator X.... wish I started with that. Keep it up and let the haters hate- that car was saved from the crusher!

Been following this for a while, you should put a mesh screen over the hole in the trunk under the radiator to prevent rock chips from punching a hole in your radiator.

Keep it up, IMO if you're currently still filming (which from what you said, it seems like you are) as you're working and getting stuff done, once you finish a task or before you start it just give a brief explanation as to what you're doing and why. For example "I'm about to cut out this part of the frame so I can weld in new mounts" or like "just finished fabricating a new bracket to help install the diff". I feel as a viewer small things like that keep me engaged. You don't have to do it for everything but I feel like it drives me to pay attention and enjoy the content more. Keep up the good work, and do what you feel is best for you, the crowd that vibes with you will stay and grow!

You'll be happy to hear then that in all of the recordings I do exactly that, I explain what I'm doing and what my thought process is even if it turns out to be a mistake haha

i love the concept , i do have a little more Automotive experience and i’m kind of leaning towards doing something similar Sure the Bi Turbos are undesirable but i like that because you can find them pretty cheap in somewhat decent shape honestly i’ve been looking at 4 doors and for a sedan they are a little more luxorius than a average used Japanese 4 door but a little cooler than a used Mercedes Benz i’m kind of leaning towards a LS motor swap and haven’t decided on a transmission. although i’ll probably stick to whatever the actual Vehicle was stock originally as in Automatic or Standard it would be a matching transmission to the LS motor tried and tested in a General Motors production vehicle for easier trouble shooting and parts available i do like your Chinese Turbo and other performance upgrades on your rear end. you should think about a Ford 9 inch narrowed and. you should be able to remachine the Maserati axles to fit it to keep the stock wheels and tires for Stealthy look etc. sure you may need to swap gearing but that’s all easily available for those and reasonably priced otherwise i do like what you did with the explanations , i say that because my original thought on the Swiss Cheese trunk was it’s a little Jenky but. the explanation for pure functionality and cooling makes sense although at the moment i can’t recall the Aftermarket radiator company that everyone uses to put V 8 engines in MGBs and other British cars that may make one to fit upfront in the grill but they are pricey too many Cobras have them too which of course a AC is a British car Platform that Carol Shelby Used as he began his racing Career driving British Cars and loved their handling

nice project car!! how much power are you going for? i myself, started a 5.3 biturbo on a 740 wagon twin 6766! keep it up!!
@projectmeatball41134 жыл бұрын
Thanks, goals for now is hopefully 550-600 on low boost. The limiting factor will definitely be the injectors, but honestly that should be more than enough power for such a light car, at least for a few months lol

Good work laying out mechanical design, doing burnouts is kinda childish and not good for the u joints, I could tell you were young by the Subaru and beard, which every young car enthusiast has. Looking forward to seeing your project continue. I have a Biturbo also.
