Love this! Although surprises me on the power. TPW mapped my bone stock K20a2 in my 205 gti and got 240 with just exhaust and filter. With the TB and inlet that has, it's got more in it for sure. Don't turbo it, fwd it will just spin up anyway. Stay n/a 👌🏻
@martindworak5 күн бұрын
I agree with you bro, I used to have a 92 Civic hatchback with a B18c and it was hella fun and reliable. Couple years later I built the motor with forged internals and a big Garrett turbo, it made 345hp on just 9-10 psi. It was a monster in 3rd gear and above, but from a stop first gear was useless, second was mostly useless, the turbo just exacerbated the lack of traction so much I sold the car to a friend. If you can’t make that Peugeot 4 wheel drive, a turbo is the last thing you need.
@DanTheGunMonkey5 күн бұрын
@martindworak too much power is a thing, especially when it's a car you want to use properly. It's fine if you want to just limiter bash and be a hooligan, but to use as a track car, to me it kills them.

dynoing on windows XP is craaazzzyyy 🥶🥶🥶🥶
@garethjohnstone866212 күн бұрын
Why? A car ECU isn't a massively complicated piece of machinery, there's only so much it needs to control, even the most advanced ECUs. When you compare all the things a windows XP PC game demands of computer, a car ECU is nothing by comparison. Timing, ignition, fuel, air, data logging, and a few fancy things like traction control etc. It just needs to be finely adjusted. But it's not crazy stuff. You don't need a brand new PC with a mental processor and latest Windows. You could map a car on an old commodore Amiga.

😂 there's a reason peugeot only ran these at 180hp when the competition was 200+hp and thats because peugeot kept blowing up the engines when they ran them at higher power. Even kept NA and still 2 litre that k20 can pull 260hp with bolt ons and cams without even taking the engine apart. Then u can swap bottom end from an accord and run 300+hp still NA still reliable.
