I’m sure I just met mine not even two weeks ago. Since the moment we looked at each other there was like a zing and we both felt it. We texted and it was like texting myself. I met my TF 11.22.07, on a stretch of beach with no one else in sight. There was sparkling sunlight all around. We made a joke, I walked away. Lost my rose quartz necklace that day. That New Years Eve (2008) we bumped into each other at an event. He told me he found me (not a cheesy line!!), that I was the mystery girl from the beach. We now live an ocean apart with similar life timelines, but he's beside me, always. My head rings like crazy every time right before I get texts from him. Before meeting my twin I was really thinking about getting a divorce anyway. I've wanted for years to get out of my abusive marriage but feared I wouldn't be able to support myself. When this magical person appeared, I soon realized that my marriage was OVER!! At the she of 56/57, I'd met the man of my dreams, the love of my life!! The connection started out as very spiritual and highly emotional. This confirms I am experiencing a twin flame connection. I’m awaken and I don’t think he is or just starting to. I was stuck and decided to separate even knowing that hurts physically. I want union he wants friendships. The pull to be in union with him is so strong. I can’t watch while he denies ours connection. It physically hurts. I believe I experienced a soul level awaken. I think the TF journey is used as a spiritual crutch to a lot of people for justifying how someone can treat them poorly... doesn’t follow through with their words...and labelling a relationship as TF can be so devastating and unfortunate for those who choose to see the world only through this lens... im saying this as a person who went thru it all: take the online information with a grain of salt and learn with the uncertainty that you may never know whether or not you’ve truly met your twin flame . I think it depends on one's perspective. I have this close friend of 16 years that I've always felt a deep connection with. I had a hard time describing, even to myself, what it felt like. However, it was literally just a few days ago I happened across a video (not this one), here on KZbin where the title was something about, "signs someone is your twin flame." I had never heard that term "twin flame" before, but I was curious of what it was. So I watched it and was sort of taken aback of how much of what they said resonated with me. I saw two other videos on the same topic, and again, I was surprised by how much of what they said resonated with me. I'm sort of glad I happened across them because I wasn't sure if I was the only one who had this type of strong connection with another person. That being said, I do not subscribe to the very new-agey/Buddhist beliefs many people use to interpret this "twin flame" concept. I believe that at it's core, the concept of having a deep and profound connection with someone of this nature to this degree has nothing to do with reincarnation, past lives, chakras, or any of that new-agey stuff. I believe, instead, that God (the God of the Holy Bible, YHVH), created this type of connection between certain people for a certain purpose. He created them for one another, for a purpose, that He had set out before they were born - since, He (God), knew all of a person's days before they lived even one of them (Psalm 139:16). Granted, many who believe in this "twin flame" stuff may disagree and cling to their new-agey interpretation, and that's their choice. I will also add that I don't think that anyone needs a label to know if they have this sort of deep connection with another person. Like I said, I have been best friends with this guy for 16 years and felt this deep connection between us long before I even heard this term. Before then, had someone asked me in passing about this "twin flame" thing, I would have had no idea what they were talking about. Lastly, I do agree that it isn't good or beneficial to get so attached to the label and convince yourself that someone is your "twin flame," especially since that person could be abusive. And one might be tempted to excuse their harmful behavior because after all, "they're my twin flame!" I think that regardless of any term one may use to hold onto someone, it doesn't justify them treating you poorly. The person you're meant to be with won't be that way. If they are, that person is not meant for you and you need to find a way to get away from that person.

I've given up on my Twin Flame because she refuses to take individual responsibility for her life, and she doesn't treat me right. This time i stayed until she had killed my romantic feelings for her, then i left. I didn't want this to happen but it was her choice, i just showed her the consequenses in words and actions by telling her it was over between us, and that we could be friends if she wanted (especially as she said there were other guys), then i blocked her after i found a new Soulmate date because she tried to once again come back to me as a romantic partner and i've been through this before. Not accepting a situation once again were i'm simultaneously in love with two people (Soulmate plus my Twin Flame) and am torn between them not knowing what to do. I still feel my Twin Flame faintly now and then, but i'm going to stay faithful to this Soulmate nonetheless, both physically and emotionally. For as long as it lasts between us. My last romantic Soulmate suffered because i didn't block my Twin Flame after i ran from her narcissistic abuse of me, and she made me fall in love with her again although i already was in love with this former Soulmate. It ended very painfully after seven years. Returned to Twin Flame because i had understood the connection but was forced to leave again rather than have the stable reunion with her i hoped for. And yes she felt like home. And i know i won't feel that way with anyone else, i tried with my former Soulmate. But i don't care. I love my current Soulmate for who she is, i can be away from "home" for as long as is necessary. I could even return to my previous Soulmate sometimes in the future, without remaking the mistake of projecting Twin Flame attributes to her like i did last time. So she is as tired of a toxic home and family situation as i am (i KNOW her situation, her mum is the worst narcissist and my DF was actually trying to break free but she wasn't strong enough this time). The thing about there being other guys was just a lie born of ego and i KNOW this but i still had to choose me out of self respect. And the Twin Flame bond is between the SOULS, not the personalities. Her personality isn't yet pure enough to properly reflect her soul, but she HAS made some progress during these now eight years, she's not a narcissist anymore, if she ever was. Still it's better to stay away from her right now and for some years. I've seen inside her soul and she's seen inside my soul. I've experienced a lot of twin-flame phenomena with one person I used to have in my life. It's someone I tried to "get over" because we couldn't work things out....I'm not even sure I believe in all this. I'm not going to do some "energy-cleanse", I don't believe in this stuff to a fault but it's a strange thing that I feel this person will always be a huge part of my daily life because I think of them every day. Temenos Vermont, You may have been in a strong soulmate relationship. Real twin- flames cannot be without eachother. Most twin-flame info on the internet is dangerous stuff. When you're very much in love with someone but the other turns his back on you this doesn't mean that it's a running twin! In that case it is definitely NOT your twin. You could be losing your time with someone who does not deserves you, but those websites try to make you believe to hold on on such relationships by selling you their stuff etc ...REAL twin-flames are very rare but those days everyone seems to believe they have a twinflame somewhere, which is NOT the case. There are very strong romantic soulmate connections which may last a lifetime too, as well as their are soulmate relationships with problems without being twin-flames. Please note that when a real running twin leaves you they will always return to you very soon after they left because they just cannot be without you. Real twin-flames that are not romantically in love do not exist either.

I dreamed of my twinflame starting in my 20s. At 50 I met him. When he took my hand and kissed I remembered where we had kissed in the past. That day my dreams ended and at that point we could share our dreams. We are in separation I dont know if that will ever work out. But yes I love him without condition.

i had an experience last night that ive never had before. like a dream but with no setting, no place or time. And i had an overwhelming feeling of oneness and unconditional love with another presence. visually it was like a yellow twinkling aura and out of it a silhouette of a female. it was so amazing and it felt like, "duh, of course this is how it all works" . I woke up briefly, went back to sleep and dreamed of something else i cant quite remember, when i woke from that dream i started to remember the yellow aura and tried to hold onto that by going back to sleep so i could revisit. i dont remember what happened when i went back into my dream state but i do know that i had a deep understanding of whatever this was i was experiencing. It was like everything was clear and made sense in the entire universe and i had all the answers to all of my problems. when i finally got up and began my day all i could remember was what i just described, no answers, just more questions. And now i have a feeling of being unfulfilled or incomplete.

I met my TF 5 years ago and we were together for one year. Its been 4 years since we broke up and its like our souls want to reconnect. No matter what we do or where we go, the connection is still there. I though I was going crazy cause I dream about him often, when Im walking on the street I see his face on other people. When we were together we used to argue about small things but it was like looking into a mirror cause we get upset about the same things of eachother. I recently met my TF a couple of months ago and woah! So accurate and it sucks lol it started out amazing and now we're at a funk. My attraction to them isn't all physical (like I wouldn't see them as "my type") however, I don't have eyes for anyone else. I knew within DAYS. I had to question it. It feels like I've known them forever but we connected 8/12/22. We're SO much alike it's uncomfortable. Yet, I can't stay mad, sad, upset, confused or ANYTHING that would usually bother me with ANYONE else, just doesn't with this person. Like, it's like a ball of light that anything negative gets absorbed into that light and it's near automatic love and forgiveness. And I'm I'm stubborn and grudgy towards people. I long for them after 2 days. Lol. It's WILD!!! We both want to be chased but neither wants to chase the other. Lol my ego CANNOT exist with them. I'm usually a waiting person. However, with this person, I could not get everything I want and still want for NOTHING with them. The connection isn't just physical, I want to just be and grow like crazy. Yet, we clash! Like... ouch... but then we can keep it moving. It goes heavy to dead. We just recently got to the hurt part. We both need to want to work on things but we're both stubborn to the max. I feel like I want to do and be anything (even on my own). We can have a heated conversation and then soon after it's like nothing happened. With anyone else I'd just cut it off and stay mad. But I can't with them. I've never had this before, ever. Almost any time I'm in meditation to detach and go within... 8 out of 10 times, they contact me. No joke! My SOUL recognized her!
