Just curious Dr are you aware that new born babies can die if they are not feeling loved by their parents? Are you also aware that many people kill themselves because they feel unloved? How many people who are complete as you describe kill themselves because they are lonely? Just because one may vibrate at a certain frequency does not mean they will attracted the same vibe as often times people with a high vibration attract lower vibrational people who use them and take advantage of their good vibes. Loving caring people tend to attract non loving caring people to them so you don't always attract those to you based on whats on the inside. You say two halves don't make a whole, then what is Yin and Yang? Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary (rather than opposing) forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts. According to this philosophy, everything has both yin and yang aspects (for instance, shadow cannot exist without light). And isn't the whole twin flame concept or even soulmate concept based on taking two halves and making them one either as two individuals and or a collective? Westernized society has given us the illusion that we do not need others for things such as love and or companionship or friendship etc meanwhile that is not the case in nature as there are many animals in nature that are monogamous and are two halves that make a whole. I can hardly believe these points. This is amazing. My husband and I were together more than 64 years before he died, just last year. Some of these things are still happening to me, as he said we would never be separated. The signs, especially 11:11 soon after he died...I kept waking up at that exact time every night. When I was 8 I kept seeing this little boy occasionally for 12 years b4 meeting. I was on my way to my aunt's when I saw a group of ppl on the playground. I agree that the heart is attached to emotion and feelings, however, emotions are fleeting and deceptive. Too many times, people have been led astray by their emotions - to lash out, to marry the wrong person, to stay in a toxic relationship, or to leave a healthy one. The first time I saw her a voice went off inside of me that said : "There she is Pat !" And I thought: "Whaaaaaatt???" Although I wasn't familiar with the terminology of Twin Flame when I met my TF 45 years ago when we were both 18, I knew this man was someone special. We both talked about how we felt as though we'd known each other before. We had amazing chemistry (I'm 64 now and never felt the chemistry I had with him with anyone else), we were extremely telepathic, we finished each others' sentences and the sex was amazing, amongst many things. We NEVER fought; we got along extremely well, and then...he walked away. I never understood why; he wouldn't talk. I tried to reconnect with him at least 3 times over the last 45 years, saw him once when we were 22 and spoke with him when we were in our 40s, but....we never reconnected. Me and my Twin Flame have the exact same energy. It’s just that his is masculine and mines is feminine, and sometimes our energies are simply a beautiful, positive ray of vibrant colours and lights. I always knew there was something different about the relationship I had with him. And he knew it too. But due to the strange circumstances of our meeting, and societal, family, my upbringing etc rules, and me being so young I’d always tell myself love at first sight isn’t real and it’s something that only happens in movies and books. But for me, that moment when we made eye contact was a moment I’ve remembered and will continue to remember forever. Once we embarked on a relationship with each other, we were together alllll the time. It was like we’d known each other for years. Your story is almostvidenticsl to mine and my twin flame. I too long to be reunited with him but i believe the tables have turned. I feel he's reaping karmic repercussions of the way he treated me at the end when we fell apart after my Mother's death in 2017. He believ# the grass was greener on the other side of the fence, but later found out it wasnt and was given a dose of his own medicine by this woman. He's since been with 2 other women that i know of and i have been told that he wants to come back and make amends to me for the way he treated me but fears that I would never forgive him and reject him, this all through a close friend of both of ours. We've since run into each other several times in town and at mutual friends houses and have been polite in saying hello to each other, but no deep conversations. Each time my heart raced and i had butterflies in my stomach and it felt like i was finally home again, but when the lime came to leave I felt like my soul was being ripped out of my body! I've worked through the grief of my Mom's passing and him walking away from me, but i know now it was something he had to do in order for me to grow and to find myself again. This time apart, though painful, i soul searched and self assessed and came back innt who i was before, i have found myself again but a different version of me, a more mature, self confident, self assured, stronger me! The woman he'd fallen in love with over 8 years ago, but wiser. He even made a comment about how well I've overcome and grown into myself again but better and more attractive strong willed now. I met her on february 2016. We immediately felt the pull and experienced intense passion. It was like a soul connection like no other. Thereafter, each and every moment we spent together was like a spiritual encounter with my soul’s true essence. We experienced the signs you mentioned here. This makes me want to write a book and tell my story. I never knew what this was and searched the feelings I had many years ago and that have been on going. It is not even something I can explain. I do not know how many times we have been drawn back together. There have been times when we could feel the others presence at a location only to find out later that both of us were actually at the same place and didn't know it until later. The first time I seen him at the age of 15 I JUST KNEW. A feeling a soul connection that is indescribable. I cried after watching this video. We had a separation for 4 years and I was in physical pain and anguish without him. I think you advice is valid, because sometimes manipulation by a narcissist can happen, and people can idealize that they are Twin Flames due to the utopian dream. However, the EXPERIENCE of Twin Flame recognition and mutual energy synergy is also a very real thing when it genuinely happens with someone. Unless one has experienced it, then they won't "get it" and will deduce it. It is truly transcends just being kindred spirits, or soul mates or alike. It is some next level stuff. However, like all relationships, requires emotional and ego cognitive awareness, including boundaries and self-love like you mention.

When my wife and I first met (My wife is my personified Sophia). We were very much in love right away but could not be together and were miserable because of it. I always said, before meeting: I feel homesick, I've never felt at home and I've always felt homesick for a place I wasn't even sure existed. From the moment I talked to her on the phone I felt this strong surg of emotions. I had to see her, there was nothing else as important and she felt the same. When we saw eachother for the first time, I cried because when I looked into her eyes I knew I had known her before, somewhere, somehow. I dreamed of her, her eyes, even as a child. For the first time I my life I felt at home. We can't believe how comfortable we are with eachother, can't stand it when we are apart. We will hear one another's thoughts, no joke. We'll be in the same room and she'll say " the blue one" and I'll laugh bc I was just thinking of what color shirt I'd like to wear. Or I'll find her in another room and ask " what did you need hun" and she'll say "what do you mean" I respond with " you just called my name" she'll laugh, "no" "no I didn't" and vice versa It's an amazing thing to find and when you do it will be like nothing you could have imagined! I don't believe that you would question if someone is your twin, but then that's my experience. There is no doubt for us that we are meant to be. Unless you are, but just not ready to unite? Forcing it or fearing it will prevent the twin flame union from occurring. Either way, you need to let go. If it's meant to be, it will be. If not, you just move on. I wish you well.

I would love to see a blog post/video clearing up Twin Flame myths, like twin flame relationships always being romantic, only incarnating with them once, etc. These are right up there with the Soulmate myths that they, too, are only romantic and you only get one. Many put Spirit in boxes and give Spirit limitations by creating and perpetuating these myths.

Twin flame is a romatic union. Soul mates can be platonic or romantic unions. The theory is there is only one twin and more than one soulmate but believe whatever makes you happy. I believe this based on my own experiences. I believe that a twin flame is a healthy, functional relationship that is mutual. Some people mistake a toxic karmic relationship as a twin because the feelings are intense. Those relationships are often codependant. Been there! I believe I've found my true twin flame. Feelings are strong and true but grounded in reality and not fantasy. Above all they are MUTUAL. We raise eachothers vibration rather than lower it. Your vibration needs to be on the same level as theirs to unite. You both need to be in a good place. There is no questioning it. You just both know. There is no feeling of 'I wouldn't survive without you' or 'you complete me'. That's codependance. We were fine on our own. We just thrive when we're together.
