Twinking Update Dec 2024

Hey guys!, I will be making a full in depth guide for the Fury warrior, and ill also be making solo runs of dungeons without parties. This video was a quick update and not intended to be a fully in depth guide. Running with others is what we mainly do on PVE twinks so wanted to showcase its good for the current event. My guide will include gems, enchants, and a full list of BIS gear and items. The BIS list is different from just grabbing timewarped pieces. However you can still boost with timewarped gear. Some pieces for BIS are actually timewarped so id suggest grabbing as much as you can for now before running for the gem socketed pieces in the BIS list ill provide later.

Great vid :) As off the 11.0.7 patch, unsubbed accounts can't use the warband bank, customer service sees it as a bug that will get fixed. It really hurts though. Nothing beats fury. 11 rShaman is op for a caster/support though. You're currently able to add 2 sockets to the Necrotic Wake rings (since they are in m+ rotation). It's a nice boost.

Can't get rings anymore atm. dungeon is bugged and drops 250 ilvl gear now from shadowlands :(

@@lesfeckingo before patch you could start chromie shadowlands and use wormhole to get over pretty quick.

@@vygandasss66 I just (as of reading your comment) took a level 20, then a level 11 shaman and both got level appropriate drops (including ring). the issue might just be with legacy loot.

@@vygandasss66 Incorrect, sort of. You CAN still get them and add sockets to them, you need another 11 to trade them to you that has NOT down the threads of fate/ Shadowlands skip. If you have, that character regardless of Chromie Time will only get level 50 gear to drop, character level. Have been testing this all day and now happily have both my rings on several more characters :)

as monk its still manageable - the thing is cata timewalking dungeons are much harder than any previous, you can kill stuff but its x2-x3 more time consuming and dangerous compared to furywar. what's more infuriating is queue's even if you que in with full group - doesn't create a dungeon for you instantly, and even if you que with 4 ppl(tank+heal+2dps) it still holds you for 2-3mins

@@uunffofficial its beacause if u have in party twink with eliminated experince debuff.thats why quees are not instant.u can bypass this if u go in capital turn exp on and quee-u will get instant quee.once inside teleport outside dung ,eliminate exp gain again and clear dung.its bit pain in ass process but only way to avoid quee time.Blizzard dont like twinks clearing and boosting people-hence why is quee longer

I found getting to level 11, turning off exp, spending 350 timewalking badges to buy weapons and armor from the classic timewalking vendor to be more than enough sfter slapping on some life stealing Took about ten minutes start to finish creating a character to clearing dungeons. feels like a bad way of farming badges though. The only reason I did it was to farm tw badges and it feels like running a single dungeon/raid boss on every alt for the 200-500 hand in per character is infinitely faster

if you want to be super efficient at farming badges id suggest having a second account free to play or active(up to you) also looting to double the amount per run.

@@uunffofficialu need put em on follow and loot bosses with both chars otherwise u get no badges sir.and put em on follow result in many deaths

@@lordanbuble5167 I typically ask the group can i set follow and most say yes. I dont think ive encountered a group that said no yet with my boosting the group on the twink. I have 3 monitors so i just quickly click over to loot each boss kill.

@@lesfeckingo Youi still want the slime trinket mentioned in my previous videos but they wont work as well during cata timewalking event. They will work outside of it boosting in older content.

Yeah it was just an example for now. But if you watch the damage to the right of the screen youll see the difference between all. But I did notice that the rogue was doing a substantial amount of damage. I do plan to have a full guide on this with solo content as well in the near future.

If you bother looking at the DPS chart, it might as well be a fully solo run, the DPS of the other 4 people combined are as important as a fart in the wind compared to the lvl 11 twink warrior... it's clear you haven't run with one to make such a comment. The other 4 people are there for the ride, they aren't contributing in any meaningful way.

only downsid to this now is that everyone in your party gets an insane debuff to XP gains. a 100k xp timewalking dungeon only gives 5k xp on completion. Its better to gear a level 20 starter account twink rather than a level 11 now. Since starter account loses xp gains without having to lock it so the debuff doesnt pop up but it can still que all dungeons with players in current expansion, its free and connected to your warband bank since you create it on your current Bnet account! You can also run yourself through content this way as well as a side note since you can operate both accounts same time.

You should check out my previous videos. You queueing and landing with these folks doesnt give anyone a debuff. Grouping up and then queueing does. - To add to this, the method you want if youre trying to boost specific people and not completely random people from queueing solo is to queue for a specific dungeon at the same time and be in voice together to communicate when they pop. If both pop at same time, join and hope you landed in the same dungeon. Once youre together this way you can requeue endlessly without the XP debuff.

All your points are meaningless... 1) Randomly grouping with anyone does NOT give an XP debuff at all... only intentionally doing so does (and there's ways around that too). Taking a XP locked twink into a random que will NEVER hurt anyone elses XP gain... fact. 2) Lvl 20 twinks are a thing, but in TWW, they pale in comparison to a lvl 11 twink... I have both and it's night and day the amount of damage they do... you can literally have a lvl 11 twink carry a lvl 20 twink with the difference in the amount of scaled damage they do... a 20 twink is a nice thing... an 11 twink is an AMAZING thing. 3) Warband banks were DISABLED for use on F2P accounts and very intentionally so by Blizzard... if you already made a lvl 20 twink and transfered gold/enchants/gear to that twink, grats, you got in before the ban... but as new advice, anyone on a F2P account is going to have a long hard grind with no gold, no enchants, no bank, no trades, no AH... no mail... NO NOTHING on trying to make a Twink. It's bad advice in 2025.

@@wolfshanze5980 Not sure if this in response to me or the other. But if its in response to me, I have more details per character class and level in my other guides after this. My other guides also highlight the warband bank not working as well. And I always mention to sub first before committing to free to play fully as it is quite a pain to try to do everything 100% free to play when gearing up. And I think you misunderstood me by group with others. If you group prior to queueing you give xp debuff, If you queue and land together you dont. There are other methods as well but I avoid macros and odd styles of dropping and regaining xp cap. Hopefully that sorts everything. If this wasnt in response to me, disregard because im an idiot sometimes anyways haha.
