There's something about the peaceful desolation of Dark Cloud 2's world that I've yet to find in another video game. Outside of that one town there's nothing, and yet there's an entire world, wild, uncharted, and yet quiet.

I agree completely. I don't believe any videogame can compare to Dark Chronicle. That's why I wish they made third game of the series, keeping in mind all the elements that made Dark Chronicle such a lovely game. I may just quit videogames altogether since they don't bring much to me anymore.

Honestly I’ve never been able to put it in words myself. Peaceful desolation is perfect. This game is honestly peak for me. Dungeon crawling world building town buildings future affecting with golf and fishing and self upgrading. This game has it all. You can transform into monsters, take pictures of things to make inventions, make towns, fight enemies, everything about this game is perfection

I used to build a CRAP tone of those stone squares and then pile them up right on the entrance to the dock and then build what I imagined to be a 'festival or fair' on the other side using various buildings and bright paint. It's strange the ways you entertain yourself as a kid.

Out of all the songs dc2 has veniccio definitely hits me the most, it's very catchy and fitting for the area. It's stuck with me since I heard it awhile ago it's so hard not to whistle this song when I'm doing something else.

Is this in a different key to the original? Been listening to the game rip one and that one is different, I've been learning how to play it going off that one and had to change key when playing along to this one
