Hi from the Greater New Orleans area in Louisiana. We are a wee bit warmer here. Right now it is 94 f and with the humidity it feels like 108 f, with rain off and on. Thank God we have excellent Air Conditioning! I see from the news Europe is having a really bad heat wave. I love watching you alls pod cast! I don’t always get a chance to comment. I love the yarns you knit in. I’ve gotten some Botanical Yarns. I do love your sock and shawl patterns. Rachel I hope you feel better soon will keep you in my prayers. The Salty Air tee is on my list for knitting this summer. Working on the Urchin tee right now for my daughter, have two pair of socks on the needles and will be doing a knit along of the Dunedrifter tee from wool & pine that The Knitting Place is doing. The Knitting Place has a podcast and a yarn shop in New York. I love how the small the knitting world is. I watch pod cast form Great Britain, Canada, Norway and the US. About to follow one in Australia. Knitting friends around the world! Thanks for the lovely podcast 💕

I love listening/watching you two (usually listening as crocheting at the same time) and often think how lovely to have a sister to share the same hobby/obsession/skill. Unfortunately I lost my brother a few years back to a brain tumour (not that he would share a knit/crochet hobby) and my half-sister left the fold before I really was old enough to know her. I have thumbs up today (I keep forgetting to do this) and I hope you get to get to 1000 followers v soon. So relaxing to join you here thank you x

I love seeing the different yarns. I'm in a couple of knit and natter groups but no one uses hand dyed yarns so to see the different fibres and colours knitted up is lovely. I enjoyed that Fruity Knitting episode too! Such and interesting man.

I love your podcast. I am always interested in hearing your shares. I have a couple of things to share. I just finished my second pair of socks. I did use a 9 inch cable. It did get easier when I was Knitting the second sock. I also knit them for Ruth’s dust them off KAL. However, I’m sorry Rachel I really didn’t enjoy knitting the socks.😂 I have no idea why however, I’m going to try the addi needles where one needle is longer than the other to see if that will makes a difference in me enjoying knitting socks.😊 I love joining KALs However, sometimes I don’t join them when the prize is given to only people who finish the pattern. I don’t have as much time or Knit as fast as others. Therefore, I like it when a KAL lets you just show pictures of your progress during the KAL and then you still qualify for the prizes. I don’t think you ladies should worry about the numbers on KZbin think about focusing more on the enjoyment that you give to our community of knitters. Also, the knowledge that you shared with all of us, I learn so much from both of you, I also appreciate the fact that you wrote back to me when I asked about needle sizes, you also wrote back to me when I asked you about colors for the shawl. both of you have such busy active lives and I really appreciate the time you spend on your craft and that you’re willing to share it. Well Kim if you don’t like knitting socks we obviously can’t be friends!!! Only joking 😍 give the other needles a try although it gets expensive. It took me more than one pair to get used to the 9 inch circs! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the KALs and might be something we always do going forward 😍

Hiya, I know what you mean about the algorithm, when I’m more consistent I get way less views and when I take a break I can get 4-10 times as many views and most of those come from the algorithm presenting it as an option to people not through people who have seen it before. Hi Jo, I love your micro striped sweater, it looks so elegant the way you have the dark strip down the back where you’ve swapped yarns.
