Many, many years ago I was sitting in my church Sunday morning. A big tour bus parked outside and guess who came in? Yes, Silk came in and joined the service, a producer/musician Stan Brown invited them. My pastor Bishop Kenneth Moales Sr. (God rest his soul), knew they were an R&B Group, but he didn't know what they sang. He let them have words and they sang a church song--on the money. I'll never forget it. They stopped by to have church in Bridgeport, CT.--True Story!

Oh man the great memories. I’ve said it before it was an absolute honor to be a teenager between the years 1990- 1992. That music hit so hard. That street hard rap was going hard but man oh man those early 90’s R&B songs were untouchable.
