Know this is a late response, but IMHO, the 90s was the end of writers of romantic lyrics such as Babyface. There were so many songs with beautiful content starting in the 50s, Motown in the 60s through early 80s. Love is eternal and that's why love songs resonate with each new generation.😊

Tevin Campbell's fourth album, titled simply "Tevin Campbell" [1999] was actually his best album though it didn't get noticed that much. It was produced my Quincy Jones and the whole CD was great. After that CD, Tevin dropped off the radar.....
