One of their albums is my all time "get up and get moving and get things done" CD. I only have two albums I feel this way about and the other is a well regarded jazz album from the late 60s.

I wasn't saying they should know anything about Ricky Martin, when I said they would feel the Hispanic vibe,I meant on Ricky's end,and what he would be serving up.

So glad you FINALLY reacted to this Ricky Martin tune - I was one of those who suggested it! The 1st time I heard this song on the radio (years ago) - I stopped what I was doing to pay full attention and dance to it. The horns knocked me out! The lyrics are unusual - almost like a country song the way he tells the story. I went out and bought the DC the very next day. So glad you liked La VIda Loca. Ricky Martin has more dance tunes you should hear. Yes, he is Latino - started in a successful boy band as a kid, then became a TV actor on a soap opera, before his solo music career. He performed this tune one year at the Grammy Awards! That performance was electric, too!

Y'all are wonderful, love your channel and the pure joy in your reactions. So good. I first heard this song in a live performance at some sports event or maybe the Grammys or something (???), he was outside and it was live and I swear to God I've never ever felt such an electric thrill watching a new artist I'd never seen before. Instant fan, was completely blown away by his energy and his talent. I wish I could find that clip on KZbin but it must not exist. Would love to relive that specific performance again.

Ricky Martin is from Puerto Rico by the way. I remember when Ricky hit it big as a solo artist on the 98 Grammys I have actually seen Ricky in concert twice the energy is even crazier when he performs live. Hey guys you should react to H-town Knockin Da Boots or They like it slow video they both are great songs.

He is smarter than the average boy band member. He made the jump from Menudo to becoming a daytime drama heartthrob. From 1994-96 he played Miguel Morez, a singer, on General Hospital .
