This is not a spoiler, but after the show was over a lot of the contestants said they were given different instructions for this dancing game. Kordell, and Nicole were told if you’re not happy in your partnership and want to leave stop dancing whereas Serena and Kendall were told if you like your partner but still want to be open to meeting other people stop dancing.

Leah screwed her credibility among the islanders by lying to Connor but I agree with Sophie that Rob’s doing too much talking to everyone else instead of Leah & playing games of telephone which just leads to miscommunication. Leah also kinda screwed herself by immediately going up to Rob after Andrea left. That plus the Connor situation just made her more suspicious. I don’t think either of them handled the situation great.

@@Lallallallala IDK, while he did misconstrue some things it didn’t seem intentional to me. The real villain here is Aaron imho. It didn’t look like Rob was thinking that way until Aaron started planting those seeds and going around to everyone. Rob is still wrong too for how he handled it by not just going straight to Leah. To me, it just felt more like miscommunication and misunderstanding than intentional twisting of words and there’s soooo much of that this season from everyone - Leah included. Again I just don’t think any party involved handled it well. But then I guess that’s what makes “good TV” but ugh it’s infuriating to watch! 😩

I think cuz everyone knew Leah wasn’t being honest with Connor so it was easy to believe she was being dishonest in other ways too. I don’t personally think Leah’s completely innocent in the situation but I do think a lot of things got misconstrued & blown out of proportion.

I think Liv was more hung up on Leah saying she took a backseat making it seem like Leah was pushing the blame on them without including herself and Leah was more caught up on her saying she was the head voice in sending Andrea home. So yeah they were fighting over different things.

he wasn’t trying to get information he was trying to turn everyone on leah. 1- he tells leah in the chat that he didn’t believe she sent andrea home on purpose but IMMEDIATELY starts running around saying she’s a liar. despite the lack of evidence to support that claim.. the girls didn’t come to rob and say leah was pushing for andrea to leave until rob planted that narrative in their heads. 2-she said she TRIED to take a backseat. 3- he sat their and flirted with her but talks so much shit behind her back. i think he did that to keep her hanging on to him as a safety net for if he can’t find anyone else. 4- yes leah should’ve been more honest with connor but before andrea even left she was talking abt how she didn’t like connor fr to everyone. rob was more calculated then y’all are thinking. i think he wanted get her dumped from the island and here’s how: since they have been making the islanders choose who leaves if everyone hated her she’s be done. he promised leah he wouldn’t say anything abt their convo to connor but then immediately told him, i think he did that hoping it would make connor drop leah. he pulled the kaylor and liv to the side and made it sound like leah was putting all the blame on them for the decision made and that’s not what she said. i also think he purposely pulled leah aside immediately after andrea left to make it look like leah was immediately trying to get him back so everyone would really believe she did it. he twisted her words, saying she was lying when she said she never talked shit abt rob to andrea- she was telling the truth. the only thing she did was go on a rant abt him in their makeup room (and we’ve all done that in the heat of all the emotions) in the presence of andrea. leah meant that she never personally one on one told andrea anything bad abt him. it was legit just the makeup room rant.

Ok some things were far fetched but YESSS very calculated he truly played those girls by leaving out very important things and Liv and Kaylor fell for it! And Leah didn’t help by making stupid choices and bucking like that calling Liv a bitch and being so hysteric. She doesn’t self regulate well when she’s hurt.

Wow @ Mair & Sophie swapping opinions on Serena & Kordell! Now he’s understanding & she’s upset. Lol. I felt SO BAD for Kordell in this moment & while I love her it did make me side eye Serena a bit. I will say some of it is on him too tho; they had the convo about being open and if that’s not something he really wanted as much as he said he should’ve spoken up regardless if it’d scare her off or not. And before anyone says it - yes I know what’s been said about the challenge - and while that does add some context I can’t bring myself to fully get behind that explanation. None of the islanders seem to have the exact same understanding of the game and that’s likely intentional so people go off their own interpretation but in my mind only 1 version of the game makes sense and the Kordell way of thinking. But we move on! Excited to get through the next few eps cuz it’s almost that time!!

Not only 1 way of the game makes sense because in love island the only way for you to leave your couple is during the recoupling. The game was left to interpretation and even given different explanations to different people. But definitely agree about Kordell being honest about his feelings regardless of how Serena feels.

Just because to me if the only criteria was being open or closed there’d be no point to the game as no couple was actually closed off at this point and everyone should’ve in theory twisted. So even if I was told that was the only criteria I’d question it cuz like you said there’s only 1 way to actually recouple so I’d be like what’s really being asked rn. I get Serena’s POV tho my thinking would’ve just aligned more with Kordell, Liv & Nicole. But I know production told people certain things & left it unclear intentionally for drama. Plus there’s the factor of Serena wanting to protect herself from embarrassment & hurt. Again, I get her choice I’m just saying my mind would’ve worked differently.

Leah was the one who betrayed the girls by saying she took a back seat. Liv only told the truth after she learned she was lied on PERIOD! Leah had a lot to do with Andrea leaving but all the girls ended up agreeing so they all should've just left it there. Leah was the one who started all the drama and Aaron & Rob kept it going.
