TGIN gives me the best knot out and wonderful definition. It also moisturizes my hair for day.

I love the product! and the name for it! ….showing that God was the author and this young woman the finisher of a product that would be kind to those who have need of natural products. She was a cancer survivor and God spoke to her about a good way to use natural ingredients to produce excellence. I too am 3X a cancer survivor and have used TGIN since I first saw it on the shelves. I think that your hair looks fabulous. Since I'm not sure how your twistouts normally look, I'm not sure whether the product performed well, or if you have other staples that work better. That said, I think the finished product is lovely. I will try and check that out because I have a similar hair type and length. My hair is also super dry and I've been hunting for a deep conditioner forever. I like how you showed that when your twist is a little frizzy/tangled you need to restart it. I tend to get lazy sometimes and leave it and but it really impacts the outcome. Note taken!

I stopped sealing with oil because I got really lazy with my hair after being natural for so long but I do recommend it if you really want to retain as much length as possible.

I do have a question though how do you suggest I go about growing my edges of my natural hair back thick they use to be at some point and then I started noticing thinness especially in the front of my hair in the top left and right corners not sure why it or how it got that way but I notice and I hate that. Looking for any suggestions since yours are soo thick and full.
@RachelAdina6 жыл бұрын
Avri Amor there's a lot of factors that can lead to the reason why your edges start to thin. First of all if you just had a baby or you're nursing or you are deprived in iron your edges can start to become thin and fragile this was the case for me. Proper TLC is ideal for your edges don't put too much stress on them with box braids or frontals and closures on wigs. Sometimes it's easy to forget that you need to moisturize your edges and apply Butters and creams just as much as the ends of your hair so keep that in mind. Also slicking your edges with gels can lead to your edges becoming very dry and being more susceptible to breakage so make sure that you keep that in mind as well, I hope this helps.

Did your hair still feel soft after it dried?
@RachelAdina5 жыл бұрын
Yes it was really soft no crunch either. I recently bought this product again from Target and I strongly believe they changed the formula its terrible now; it leaves a flaky residue on the hair. Im done with this product!

@monie9485 жыл бұрын
@@sensimania yes but then you would have had to stop using it anyway 😦
@monie9485 жыл бұрын
@@RachelAdina that's how hair companies get your money. They start with a good product then change the formula to one that isn't as good for the hair ( probably costs less), and customers keep buying it. It breaks the hair out and we think it's our hair but it's not, it's the product. Our hair doesn't a million produ ts to be healthy, long, and moisturized either .js
@sensimania5 жыл бұрын
I ended up using it anyway (last week) and after reading the feedback from@@RachelAdina, I decided to also use a leave in conditioner mixed with a bit of that hair butter by the Mane Choice (which is actually closer to a hair grease) with a little almond oil. And guess what! No flakes! Although it did take longer to dry. I noticed that although the butter cream has the consistency of cream, it actually acts as a hair gel (leaving a hard cast if you don't also use an oil or moisturiser). So, I think it is actually meant to be a gel cream, in which case we should always use it in conjunction with other oils and/or moisturisers (like we would do if we was using any other gel)

Great question, I'm not sure. I do find that the Argan gel flakes and curds with a lot of my products. The only two I have success with is the Eco Crystal Gel and the Flaxseed Eco styler gold gel.
