He falls down but he doesn't die usually. He takes damage. In fact he only does from falling if he has low health.

@@razorfin699 well, that makes a comeback in Head On, but it applies to everyone, i miss dying instantly if falling from an edge, that's what made rooftop battlegrounds so unique, now it's only part of the scenery (well kind of, but still). This, New York, Antarctica, Snowy Roads and Abandoned Skyscrapers forced us to watch our step

Minion was a beast in the 1st twisted metal. comes rollin out in 1 of them SWAT Tanks n jus whipes the floor with u. Health charging stations were a nightmare 2 use. once u found em it took time to heal u back to full power. in that time frame Minion could find u at any moment wit ur guard down.

Given the release date of this game, this is probably the first video game to ever have this kind of epic orchestrated symphony in the industry. Nintendo and Sega were still using midi and restricted to bits for their music while Playstation was able to play full-sized audio files like a cd player so safe to narrow it down to a Playstation game. Twisted Metal was released right after the launch line-up which didn't consist of anything like this in their soundtracks.

The whole premise of this game is quite Eerie Calypso makes tournament were people battle in their cars with machine guns and missiles. After the first round in Calypso's Arena the whole contest spills out on the cold... Christmas Eve streets of L.A killing hundreds of Innocents in the process. Twisted Metal has an eerie tone to it that no other video game has ever surpassed in my opinion.
