Twisted Metal TV Show- New Characters and Details!

The new trailer dropped and we saw some new classic characters that will appear in the show. Fan favorites Twister, Outlaw, Shadow and Darkside (maybe?) will all be in the upcoming show!
Twisted Metal is a comedy series based on PlayStation’s dormant vehicle combat video game franchise. It stars Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), who plays a “motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland”.
Mackie is helped by Quiet, a “badass car thief” played by Stephanie Beatriz (Encanto, Brooklyn Nine-Nine). Twisted Metal also stars Thomas Haden Church (Sideways, Divorce, Spider-Man: No Way Home) as psychotic highway patrolman Agent Stone, with Will Arnett (Lego Batman) voicing and AEW and former WWE wrestler Samoa Joe (Seanoa) portraying the demented, ice cream truck-driving Sweet Tooth. All 10 half-hour episodes premiere on Peacock on July 27, 2023.

"They never actually SAY they're after the package." Yes, they do. The gunman for the Warthog vehicle in the trailer says "GIMME THE PACKAGE, DIRTBAG" before he starts shooting at him at Footlocker. It would seem the "competition" in this show is whoever gets the package delivered gets Raven's/Calypso's wish offer granted to them, which I like. That's a good take on the whole tournament thing. If the show was just a scripted demolition derby, I'd probably get bored pretty fast.
