That color put me off at first. But if it’s the director’s preference I’ll try to deal with it. I won’t get my copy for a while so I’m just happy to see everyone giving this film so much love. Hopefully the sequel doesn’t suck.

yea the green is why I won't buy this. Too bad for the production companies. Maybe they'll learn one day. Ridley Scott has been ruining classics for 20 years though so maybe they won't. Give us a remaster of the film that came out and I'll happily spend the money.

There really shouldn't be any controversy over the green sky once you realize the change in color was fact-based for incoming tornadoes.....

Unfortunately, the Atmos track is not as good as you think it is. It is a 7.1.2 bed mix with only a couple spots in the entire movie's runtime that use 3D objects through all the speakers, including all 10 of the possible overhead speakers. It's about 98% static.

The Audio is incredible on this 4K. The opening scene made me jump with the impact and almost "alien/monster" howls! Plus the Aunt Meg End scene had us looking around like something was in OUR house - lol!! The one weird thing though is......the color looked better on the behind the scenes feature with the director than the actual movie itself??? I couldn't figure this out but I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice this 🤔

When the menu screen sounds good you know the Atmos will fantastic. Best Atmos soundtrack ever

Apparently that’s the way it was supposed to look originally. When you have a tornado before things turn black there is some green there.

Just watched it. P/Q was ok. I redeemed the digital copy and it redeems in Dolby vision. In your own words, “holly smokes” this is a different movie in Dolby vision. Resolves beautifully. This is the definitive way to watch it.

Nice! I preordered mine on Amazon back on May 1 and it was supposed to come today and now delivery is delayed with no new date yet. Grr. And yes... this is also my favorite natural disaster film ever. It's one of my childhood favorites.🌪

the 4K green sky, intercut with the conversations about 'billy' inside the restaurant, back to billy felt significantly more profound (like he was a magic man)
