Exactly! My fiance asked for locs since he always asked for the same twist style anyway, and I love the look, but I won't do the same for myself. I love switching it up way too much between puffs, twists, half-n-half, stretched, shrunk fro, just everything. 😄

@@nazareneoftheway3936 It's real easy to do! Take a section of hair, split it in half into two strands, then twist one strand over the other. Keep putting each strand over the other one at a time until you get to the end of your hair. Like twirling a rope. Then, if your hair is especially curly/kinky you can end the twist by twirling the end around your finger, and that'll keep it held together. If your hair is straight/wavy then you can tie a band or clip on the end to keep it from unraveling. If my instructions are a bit unclear, any KZbin demonstration should clear up how to do it. :) Also, you can do three-strand twists in the same way! Take a section of hair, split it into thirds. Put one strand over the other two, then the second over the other two, then the third over the other two all the way down. If by the end one strand is too short/small to reach the end, you can combine it with the next smallest of the other two then two-strand twist the rest of the way. Twirl/tie/clip the end. Also, one major rule: never split a strand at any point of twisting it. Don't let the strands share any hairs down the twist, this will result in an awful, frizzy time untwisting it for the twist out look. Once you're comfortable twisting, I encourage you to look up how to flat twist too! It's like the corn row braid equivalent for twisting. I'm wearing twists through most of my head with twisted bang over my eye a bit, and the other side is flat twisted back to about mid-way my head at the moment. Fabulous ✨😁
