He forgot to mention other key points... 5. Wear protective styles for 1 - 2 weeks at a time. (Cornrows/braids/twists). 6. Get your split ends cut if necessary. 7. Deep condition your hair 1x a week or every 2 weeks. Protein treatment every 8 - 12 weeks or when necessary for low porosity hair. 8. Stop manipulating your hair styles often. Keep the same style for at least 1 week then change or bi-weekly. 9. Don't detangle dry hair.

One thing that helped me was understanding LESS IS MORE, I fell for the KZbin “hair gurus” and was putting too many different products in my hair which lead to a slimy gunky flaky scalp….now I just shampoo and use wild growth. For moisture I just spray water and oil my scalp when necessary. That’s all I do. Only time any other product goes in my head is when I get braids and they use gel.

It’s normal for your hair to grow different lengths in different areas, and it’s also normal to have different hair textures in certain areas I’d recommend trying to focus on growing all of your hair , and then getting a trim to even it out, also try giving that one area a bit more care then the rest ( rosemary oil, clove oil, and wild growth hair oil, ) Are amazing when it comes to growing hair, so give those to a try And of course, be sure to keep your hair conditioned
