I was in college when three mile island happened. And my grandparents lived 20 or 30 miles from there. Unit 2 is the one that had their issues and it no longer can be used. There was nothing wrong with unit one. It was shut down for maintenance at the time. Three Mile Island supplied power to Penn elec and Met-Ed. I lived in Penn elec area

Leo.. They aren't restarted the reactor that had the accident in 1979. They're restarting the one that shut down in 2019, and had been running since the accident, no problem.
