@@Orillion123456 In terms of Mechanics and Content its really damn good. But it is pretty scuffed.^^ Another Rom-Hack that it is really good in terms of Mechanics and Content despite of what it looks like at first is Moemon Mega Fire Red. Also suprsingly difficult.

As someone who never got into Pokemon (and I've tried), watching Jared play these hacks makes me want to try again. You make them look so fun. Got a couple loaded up on some old Nintendo handhelds, and going to give it another serious go.

Nice to see thins! Not sure if it comes up but if you do the optional Blue/Chat battle there's a hidden groto that opens up off the side of Route 1; in the base game you can find Raltz & Duskull there.

I could be wrong but I think the catch rate is tied to the difficulty,Jared did put this on hard so the game is giving pokemon a higher catch rate thus making it harder to catch them

For those that have played this game... how much the difficulty setting change the game? The hardest one is like Battle frontier GBA difficult?

The difficulty settings change certain aspects of the game, but I wouldn't say any of the content is comparable to Battle Frontier difficulty, maybe other than the post-game (and Modern mode, which is tough near the end) Easy difficulty makes it so that all Pokemon gain exp like how gen 8-9 work, and Poison doesn't affect you outside of battle. Normal is pretty standard, Pokemon gain exp as they used to, poison affects you in the field, and special trainers get access to healing items. Hard mode increases all trainers' pokemon levels by 10%, all trainers will get access to healing items, and the game will work in 'Set' mode instead of letting you switch before the next Pokemon the opponent sends out at you.
