The skeletons are awesome and scary as hell. I have a mod that removes music and replaces it with ambience so it really feels like you are in a dungeon and the skeletons are terrifying.

Nice to see a playthrough! I don't know if you're using the music portion of the D.R.E.A.M. mod, and it sounds like that's not the case. But the music part of DREAM was my remastering work, a grueling 8 months to remaster the entirety of Daggerfall's music (81 music tracks was the final count) with the available libraries I had at the time. I strived to keep the music true to the original, but increasing fidelity and adding different instrument articulations. (spiccato for strings, etc.) to make things sound a bit more authentic. If you think about what they did with the music for Ultima 5 Lazarus in the Dungeon Siege engine, that was my inspiration and goal to achieve something similar. It was originally unrelated to DREAM, but King of Worms liked it enough that he requested if it'd be okay to incorporate it into his larger mod, so I gave permission. (I've improved and expanded my orchestral libraries and fidelity since then, but I have no plans to re-remaster the tracks).

I've been playing with the DREAM mod's remaster, and it's so, so good. Very well volume-balanced in comparison to this one, very accurate while improving fidelity so much. Great job on it, good sir or madam.

@@TheUltimateHum Thanks! I put a lot of work into that, and handled the music remaster in a few different stages. First stage was setting up overall workflow in my DAW (Reaper). Stage 2 was curation, which was going through the 130+ tracks of midi files, removing the redundant tracks, and/or choosing the version of the midi track that had the most granular data in terms of automations. Stage 3 was replacing instruments and splitting up instrument articulations (edit/cut/splice to different tracks) (and due to some of the things I used with Alchemy Player, a little more involved than just a straight swap). All instrument samples used were in SFZ format, and decent quality for free libraries. For orchestral sets, I used Virtual-Player Orchestra 3, and Versailles Studio Community Orchestra 2, and a couple other freely available libraries for percussion. Stage 4 was the mixing pass. Stage 5 was the "mastering" or finalization pass (not truly mastering as I have neither the room acoustics nor equipment to properly master). Ensuring all tracks had similar audio levels in terms of RMS/LUFS metering and what my ears perceived. I have my room setup calibrated to use Bob Katz K-20 metering (though from what I typically mix at it's more like K-14 metering). The goal was to produce a music remaster that stayed true to the original aesthetic and avoid the more "Hollywood" type of sound. Though, technically other remasters might be a little higher quality or fidelity than mine (like the one by Pieces of 8-Bit) since I was using open source/freely available libraries at the time. Given the time and effort I'd say the project was certainly a labor of love for me.

Ah, questions that determine your character stats. They use that feature in "Living with Sister", but it's not optional so if you you roll "Unfortunate, Loose-Boweled", that's what you're stuck with.

That CLEARLY not evil looking guy, it would've ben cool if there was a scenario where a Guild turned out to be Evil and decided to go for Conquest/Domination, and had you joined said Guild before they did so, you'd be able to join them in their goal of domination and conquest. Would've been even cooler if you would get a whole new main mission of needing to subjugate or slaughter every person in each city/village/town to reach the Ending.
