@HexIsme6 жыл бұрын
She can't believe that others forgive/absolve her, because she can't forgive herself. It's not a healthy frame of mind, but I think the police should not have shown her anything. They should have left it at the principal had an accident in the hallway during the lock down and died, and left it at that. She doesn't realize that in order to do any of the things she thinks she should have done, she would've had to have been willing to risk her personal safety and the safety of the children around her. She did exactly what she was supposed to do, had the situation been what it was supposed to have been. The flaw was not in her, or even the system, it was in the circumstances. There's no way she should've been willing to roll that kind of dice given what she knew at the time. That's how people get their faces blown off. It's incredibly tragic.... but I hope she gets the help she needs, and *deserves*.

I wish the teacher just knew that it wasn't her fault, there's a protocol for a reason. If there was actually a person on the other side of the door that had a weapon and she had opened that door or the blinds, it would/could have ended horribly for her, the teacher, and the children. If anything the principal died knowing that his staff and students were safe. But I also feel for her, I know it must be hard feeling it's your fault. But really there's nothing else you could have done.

lockdown story is so upsetting. it isn’t her fault. she did what she had to do in this event. it was a sad demise but realistically she couldn’t have done anything. it’s nobody’s fault. it was an accident. sad that she will continue her life blaming herself for something out of her control. no one is pretending to be sympathetic.

Emily Carpio have you read the comments? She has so much support here. And also you can't stay that she'll be damp to continue her life feeling this way. As many people might come as have said, she can get the help that she needs and deserves. Many people suffer from PTSD and survivor's guilt. It is difficult and not easy to overcome, but with therapy and support you can ease the burden and live a happy life.

AwesomeSpider4 i wasn’t trying to be controversial i’m just saying that at that level she might not recover. i hope that she does, but you can’t say she will and i can’t say she won’t. and i wasn’t. either is a possibility. I just put it as she will because to be honest, that’s a more realistic answer considering how long she’s been blaming herself.

Omg these stories in the Let's Read videos spook me, maybe teach me to be more observant, but this video- the school lockdown story- made me cry and I don't watch these vids for that. While I truly don't want to feel this sad, that was the horror story that was the most horrifying of all that I've heard on this channel 😥😞

If these stories are true or not doesn't matter. It's still a reminder for the rest of us to know and be aware. Lot's of things happen in this world, some unexpected that we can't control. Some even leave us stories so that we know, and others we must make to let the unknown dangers be told.
